visual art LFA stipples

I do stipple art when i'm in the mood to or when commissioned. They are done by fine point sharpies by hand on various sizes of paper.i work from photos that are sent. All examples are people's personal pets. these are a few. I still am improving.

Impressive. Those look quite good, and I imagine they were quite time consuming. Do you usually start with a light, basic pencil outline, or are these just done by reference?

I don't know how you could have such patience for stippling, lol. Regardless amazing art. I love it!

Light Pencil sketch first. ^^ then dotdotdotdot... if i push myself i can normally finish one in a week/week and a half.

 

One i did i sadly dont have a photo of i did in highschool. It was a half body of Snape and was on gaterboard about 4' high. Took me a solid month to finish it. Never.again. lol
