So, I finished this song, and it sounds a hell a lot better. I changed some shords, added Sub bass, took out some bad sounds, replaced instruments, and lastly i remastered it. This thread is somewhat pointless now.

I'm pretty sure I've got a lot to fix, so I'll just keep practicing for now.

Please tell me what you think! you know, stuff I shoulda put in, things that don't sound that great.

Thanks for At least Clicking on my Song!

This song sounds way different now, idk if i'll upload the new one though.

It's...okay.

NEEDS MORE BASS!! Sorry, had to. The bass will give it some depth and presence, especially with the parts with those basic rhythms.

Also, you could've added some arpeggiated chords during the main parts to make it interesting. Play with different arpeggiated patterns and see which one you like, instead of keeping the chords blocked. What would've been better was to have a pad playing the blocked chords and a bass lead or synth bass play the broken chords.

The square wave that was playing the melody could've been less filtered. It felt as if it weren't bright enough. Could've run a light brightness emphasizer and some chorus to bring it out.

Your percussion needs a lot of work. It remains the same except for those fill-ins.

For your percussion you have: 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and

You could've done: 1 and a 2 and a 3 and a 4-pu-let

or: 1 and a 2 and a 3 and a 4 e and a

All in all, this piece could be improved, but it is a good start

Please don't take offense in any of this.

THANK YOU! I needed someone to post something like this, or else I would've never known what I could do better. Rainbow-Crash told me about the bass already. As I said in the post, I am going to re-master it, but it looks like I can do a lot more than that. I really appreciate comments like these, not everyone likes to point out the wrongs in people's work.

Yeah, I so stickler about all music. That's because of my 15 years of piano playing and 4 years of composing. Want some theory help? We can do it through PM and it will surely make your music come out better in the longrun.
