SketchDump #4 Twilight Sparkle

Nice work! The pose is interesting and I really like how you handled Twilight's expression, it communicates a lot with only a little and the negative space that leaves helps emphasize her overall posture.

The element of magic looks bent out of shape, but this is a sketch so expecting perfect symmetry would be a little odd. I had to do a double take when I only saw one leg, technically I see how her other foreleg might not be in the frame but it was a little bit distracting from a purely visual standpoint. It made it a little bit harder to distinguish where her neck leads into her body. Not really wrong so much, especially if you were going for that very close up point of view kind of style.

As was said, the wings look somewhat off. They're shaped all right, but the way you drew the feathers doesn't exactly look like feathers at first glance. Deciding how to handle feathery wings can be difficult, especially when your translating wings from a cartoon into a different art style. I can't offer any advice there except maybe look at the different ways other artists portray them and find some excuses to draw more wings.

I like your style! It has a very dynamic feel to it, where I can see the motion and weight of them. Very nice indeed!

Well, I'm glad I was able to help you improve your art! I'm not much of an expert myself, but I try to give meaningful advice where I can.
