Coolaybo 0 May 10, 2014 Share May 10, 2014 I was thinking about telling my friend about the show but I don't known if I will get insulted and teased around my school, I'm 15 you see and I will probably just try and ignore it Should I show him? Scootalove 10,689 May 10, 2014 Share May 10, 2014 Ignoring it works. If he wants to see the show, show him. If not, don't show him. Credit: Moony © Forum FAQ Forum Rules
M'aiq the Liar 5,804 May 10, 2014 Share May 10, 2014 Just show him the show, if he doesn't like it he doesn't like it. Just be confident in who you are and tell them if you want. http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/vera-yeoman-r5921Muh pleb tier OC .http://mlpforums.com/blog/1663/entry-12477-pony-waifu-wedding-13-maiq-x-fleetfoot/ MLP forum's #1 Fleetfoot fan also married to fleetfoot <
MLPFanatic34 3,235 May 10, 2014 Share May 10, 2014 Agreeing with what Scootalove said, some people take interests in things and some don't, if he doesn't care for the show no loss, he's entitled to like what he likes as are you. If he likes it great! Good luck either way
Carbon Maestro 1,003 May 11, 2014 Share May 11, 2014 (edited) Don't be forceful when showing things you do, chances are they'll have different interests. You can always try to start a conversation with, "So, there's these men who like My Little Pony called bronies. Can you believe how crazy that is?" And you can gauge if they have an interest or not. If they are rather hostile towards the idea shake it off and say, "Well, I'll drop the subject. It's interesting though." and drop the subject and leave it at that. If they are indifferent about it then you can say, "Well I actually took a peek at the show and it's...not bad. It's pretty good." They'll be more open about it if you go about it that way. Just don't force them to see it. You're just recommending it and that's a good way to to stay friends with someone without being too creepy about it.
