Changeling Theory: Do they smell bad?

Seems like a really dumb idea....Well it actually is. I know they're insect ponies. But do you think that automatically means they smell terrible? You think the ponies would have a perception like that? I magine the changeling hives to be a very wet and nausiating place for a pony.

Hm... I believe their homes would be smelly, but they themselves might have the scent that ladybug's have (if you know what I'm talking about). But they can't smell that terrible, I don't think, because the characters probably would have mentioned or at least hinted about it in the show. XD

I believe they might be traditionally, but no one else notices because if they can change their appearance and their vocal chords magically to more accurately imitate a said pony, then I think it would be reasonable to assume that they could change the scents their bodies secrete to better match them as well as avoid suspicion.

 

Otherwise, that would probably be a dead giveaway.

They're a bunch of snugglebugs. They smell like love and snuggles.

 

 I'm not sure. I would imagine any stench they might give off is masked when they change form otherwise they might be caught. Those cocoon things look rather smelly to me though.

I don't know if any bugs smell bad, so i don't really agree.
