How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: Out of all things, the My Little Dashie movie. No, really. And yes, you're free to laugh.

My username is not in any way a show of inferiority complex towards sharp pointy blades or anything. My main contributions to the MLP fandom (I hope I'm contributing something) is as a writer. Unfortunately that means any introduction from me will unavoidably include a lot of talk about MLP fiction.

 

It was shortly after discoveringt the My Little Dashie movie very, very randomly on youtube and then perusing the actual base material (MLP itself, all 4 seasons in one go. HECK YEAH) that I began looking through MLP fanfiction. I found writing MLP fanfiction very, very interesting in that it opens up a whole dimension of narrative. The equine anatomy alone, namely the use of hooves instead of hands, the way everypony uses all-fours when walking about, heck the use of pony pronouns (or ponynouns as I call them) like 'everypony' and 'anypony', everything gives MLP fiction a fresh new dimension to reading and writing. I couldn't resist. I just had to give it a go. And thus my last month or two has been spent losing myself in writing out my own MLP fiction. And I've never had more fun in my life.

 

As for why I'm here, the site I post my fiction on (FIMFiction, if you've heard of it. I'm not massively involved in the fan community so I don't know how well known it is) doesn't have very active forums so I'm here to meet other fans and find out what it is that others find attractive about the show, ponies, etc.

I myself am not one to really like "FIMFiction" but you yourself seem like a vary nice gentleman, and i would like to get to know some pony's myself. Best of luck to you on your "FIMFiction" and if you yourself are a lady, please excuse me i am not sure. Maybe if we had some time to get to know one another we could be good friends, but who really knows.

Thanks for the welcomes everyone! This was kind of late, real life kind of got in the way, but I'm grateful for the welcomes. I'm really liking the feel of this place already!
