It not entirely impossible but is very very unlikely, Hasbro has wisely left fanworks alone for the most part with certain ones only being taken down that pose a danger to their trademark (I know it sucks that they happened but it is the law that is the problem). But that dosen't mean that Hasbro will let such works be published like actual books.

I think fanfiction, being a derivative of something someone else owns, is pretty illegal to sell on your own.

However..

What what I heard, there are quite a few Star Wars fan-made books published that the people who actually operate/own the series don't really have a hand in--though I think the owners of Star Wars have to have a hand in the publishing, unless I'm mistaken.

Like, person A uses B's story, then B has to be the one to publish it.

One would probably have to be or get affiliated with Hasbro for something like that to happen. (I personally would love to do so, and publish the off-season adventures of the ponies of Equestria! ^U^ But that's just me.   )

There would probably be a hairy legal battle if anyone ever wanted a fan-fiction actually officiated by Hasbro due to the nature of copyrighting. I seriously doubt any brony could, or would want to afford it.

 

However, Fallout: Equestria actually has hardcover copies which can be ordered. They're on request-print basis, not production.
