Haha, Shockwave. He is from the good old Transformers cartoon right? I used to watch that. Possibly one of my favorite cartoons ever.

I think I watched like 60% of the episodes and that being just on TV, not internet.

I won't comment on how the drawing other then that looks quite terrible, oh wait, I just did.

But I get it, Shockwave pony. XD

Never got around to watching the old transformers.

The thing I have to say is, you need to work A LOT on your drawings. it just takes practice.

How about instead of telling it's terrible, tell me how I can improve.

Oh, so you were actually trying to draw this well?

Well, I think that this being as a joke you don't honestly have to draw it better. I find this a bit funny. While if you actually made him look robotic like Shockwave then it would be more epic, but I wouldn't like it.

I cannot say that I have seen Transformers at all with the exception of a couple of the more recent films which I cannot say that I particularly enjoyed.  However, Transformers are iconic enough that almost everyone has probably heard of them, even more so now.

As far as the drawing, Thunder is quite right that some work would need to be done but all of that can be fixed with practice, references and such.  Whether you want you Shockwave pony to look similar to the show or more robotic in form, good anatomy is the first and best place to start.  Learning basic equine  skeletal structures will help you gain a better understand as to how the body is built and how it moves, which will in turn make your drawings more solid.  There are also plenty of tutorials that do a great job of showing these basics.  Here are a few that you may find helpful

But the most important thing to remember is to keep practicing and have fun with it, because it will only turn into a chore if you do not find enjoyment in the process.

Take care!
