Flagging's a term I pulled from Japanese VN (I don't think it's a directly translated concept but that's the closest English equivalent) that refers to certain scenes/events that unlock other scenes events. In this context it's a joke about how some real life 'scene' shows the terribleness of the brony in question and closes off future scenes or the like.
