Got the new set two weeks ago and finally built my new Blue/White troublemaker themed deck. Didn't do too badly, 3-1, but still ranked 4th. My bro is like a pro at this. He's probably spent a fortune on boxes and buying out rare cards to get a complete set. He's very frustrating to play against. It's probably the one aspect of the franchise I've spent the most money on and the first card game I became truly invested in. For those who don't get the pumped function, it's pretty much turns cards that you would flip and send to the bottom of your deck during problem faceoffs into energy cards of sorts, or for Yu-gi-oh players, they turn into XYZ material. You attach them to your pumped pony and can remove the cards from play to activate your ponies special power. Fancy Pants is a good card for this. flutterdashmelissa 9 June 6, 2014 Share June 6, 2014 I just bought myself the rarity/rainbow dash deck and also a booster pack! i am not sure when I will get a chance to actually play. my husband plays magic:the gathering, and i sometimes do as well, so maybe I can convince him to play with me. I lost every game! There is a card game about MLP...!? Oh my god I might have just found something that might force me out of the brony closet! Yes, that battle would be epic, and the new set would allow that. They've thrown in mechanics for multi-player duels. But remember, I said he was frustrating to play against. Oh and about the multi-player mechanic, um I kunda heard about it but I didnt really get it, is it kinda like MTG and Yugioh tag duel where 1 person goes first then the teammate goes next then the opponents team goes next, or is it 1 person goes first then 1 person from the other team goes next then it continues like that?....help me figure out how the mechanics work, im lost haha Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Well a CCG stands for collectable card game and in the Mlp Ccg, u basically collect the cards, trade if u want, and battle against other players. Man I remember when me and my bro played the game and let me tell u, it WAS confusing for me cuz I barley knew how to play , so then we looked up quite a few videos ob youtube and then we started to play like normal, we had lots of fun haha.
