About this blog

As of the 2017 movie, I am officially done with Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Rainbow Dash and Applejack. The reason why is because I feel that these four ponies are the first to run out of potentials by now, for five reasons:

  1. We've seen all their families (including AJ's dead parents).
  2. They've had plenty of episodes with each other (and with Pinkie and Fluttershy).
  3. They've achieved their respective dream goals (being a Wonderbolt, opening a new store in Manehattan, etc.).
  4. They're the only four of the Mane Six to have antithesis enemies (Flim and Flam, Suri Polomare, Lightning Dust, etc.).
  5. They're the only four who have each had at least one episode where they only appear individually within the Mane Six.

As a result, I'm expecting Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Starlight Glimmer to be the biggest focuses with the most potentials in Season 8. I also feel that Fluttershy deserves an episode with Spike more than Rainbow Dash does because Fluttershy is the only pony who can tame even the scariest creatures, including dragons, and not only that, Rainbow Dash has appeared more in Spike episodes than Fluttershy has.

What's more, I'm also dropping out of the Equestria Girls fandom, since I don't really like the new designs, and for the fact that anything Equestria Girls related from now on will always be YouTube exclusives.

This resulted in G4 content of My Little Pony gradually losing streaming options. But now that Hasbro Entertainment is no longer associated with Entertainment One and Make Your Mark has ended, there should be a better chance that G4 will come back to Netflix and finally leave Discovery Family fo
