Yay, PMVs!

 

*Fading to black on "Here one minute/and then they're gone" at 2:02 was a smart editing move.

 

*Parts of the video (such as 2:11 to 2:18) are low on energy. One of my favorite tactics is to cut out parts in the middles of scenes. For example, some places where RD is in the same pose and is pausing between talking? Split the clip on each side of the pause and cut it out, leaving seamless movement and lip sync behind.

 

*I liked the transitions that you used. Nice without being in your face.

 

*I enjoy the border/color effect combination a lot. I was somewhat confused, though, by the crystally one at 4:12 and therabouts. It was setting out Rainbow Dash from the background, but what was its purpose? The same effect was used on other characters even when Rainbow wasn't in the shot. 

 

*2:20-2:35 flowed excellently!

There was really no clear purpose to the sparkle effect at the beginning of 4:12, or the footage choices in 2:11-2:18. For the entire development of this PMV, I really just used what looked good to me.
