Working on a Graphic Novel, may need other people to help, I don't know yet.

I have a story, I have characters, I don't have a large amount of time, and I may require some help on the art dept.

But judging from this bland cover, what do you guys think?

I like the lighting gradients here a lot, but I'm somewhat confused what the picture is depicting. Maybe spread the pony's posture out more?

 

(Keep in mind that I am NOT a draw-er myself. All I can give are my uncertified opinions as a person who likes graphics design.)

I kinda guessed the posture was an issue.

 

He's hunched and leaning in a corner.
