Sucks to hear that, but that's just the way old people think (I mean, that's what I've seen in my experience). Even my parents, who are not that old, would think it's bad that I watch the show. *hugs* Most of us have been through that. What I do is watching it when nobody can see me watching it.

If you feel like your family is judging everything you like, then it's better to just keep it hidden or not make a big deal about it. What your family should really care about is the fact that these you enjoy these things and the things you enjoy are making you happy. And wtf, are they really going to not allow you to watch Breaking Bad because.. they don't like it? Liking these things isn't going to hurt anyone, so what's the problem? Like ooBrony said, old people can be grumpy sometimes. Don't let their opinion take you over.
