A fanfic idea—feedback requested.

I've had this idea for a fanfic for quite some time, but I haven't yet got around to writing it. Before I do, though, I'd like to be able to gauge the level of interest here. So, what do you think of this premise?

 

Alien Infestation

 

An influx of exotic ponies strikes up an unforeseen dilemma. They call themselves Bronies, and they're migrating to Ponyville in alarming numbers. Celestia incarnates the Ministry of Homeland Security in response, but cleaning up Equestria proves to be no easy task.

What are the genres?

 

A little bit of everything, with moderately humorous undertones. It's an adventure-type story that will involve saving Equestria, but with no easily defined villain. There will be dark scenes, sad scenes, romance scenes, and everything in-between... but the main focus is to create a funny, yet thought-provoking story. It's my signature blend of genres, and should work well with my writing style.

Wait... will they actually hav anything to do with bronies =p

 

or just a name coincidense =p

 

No coincidence. Bronies walk through the portal featured in Equestria Girls and become their OCs in Ponyville. This causes a whole host of problems for the mane six and the rest of the cast.
