I agree with most of your thoughts.....except one:

And I'm not saying that because I never want the show to end. Not at all.

I'm saying that because I will be damned if this show is going to end without us seeing Rainbow Dash donning a Wonderbolt outfit. I will be damned if this show is going to end without the CMC getting their cutie marks. 

I will be damned if the show is going to confirm to me that only Twilight's development has mattered the entire time, and that there was absolutely no point in getting invested in the development of anyone else. 

So I'm sorry, but Twilight's Kingdom was no better a series finale than Magical Mystery Cure was. And I'll admit that it's really getting tiring seeing only Twilight get anywhere while everyone else keeps running in circles. 

*in fluttershy's voice but a bit higher not completely the same* i hope to see discord and flutters have a cute moment

Knew someone would disagree with me on that.

But, like I said, if it ended there, at least the show's artistic integrity would remain intact. Yes, it does leave some questions unanswered, but I'd rather have them unanswered than to have them answered, but poorly answered.
