I remember the first time I watched Double Rainboom. I could stand only 13 minutes of it before ragequitting watching the episode. It really is one of the worst things produced by this fandom.

Also, you missed some in-jokes, like a Companion Cube after Dash damages the library as she leaves and the Back to the Future theme as Twilight is looking at the trail Dash left behind (as two examples.) Oh, and the occasional musical notes from Zelda. I think the stolen Flash puppets are the least of DR's concerns, the entire thing is full of stolen content.

There was this other review I watched a while ago that mentioned some of the stolen content, like various musical cues from Zelda, BttF and other media franchises like that, and I mentioned there's a Companion Cube by Twilight after Dash "leaves" the library.

Yea, this fan crap is not only terrible for what it gave us, Zachary Rich's team were a bunch of incompetent assholes that not only stole DHX's puppet rigs, but blew off everyone of the members that were not part of their crew that put their work and effort into it only to mean nothing in the end.

I wouldn't have mind if Hasbro had sued them in all honesty.

I don't know about that, but the constant references are certainly grating. It should never have been branded as a faithful recreation of the show.

An oldie but I'm glad to actually see MLP:FiM lovers/bronies alike who despise this. I'm furthermore impressed with your analysis (well, not specific and actually I wish you delve deeper into that issue because as someone who has interest in voice acting and can actually do voices, these things make me crazy mad,) of the voice acting.

Twilight's voice at that direct scene where you commented on not only how poor the voices were in general, but the characterization and personality/emotion into it. Serious, what the Hell Buckland? You know better than that!

This is one of the most horrendous things derived from the show, there's no argument to it.

Glad to see that more and more people are tearing apart Double Rainboom. While things like Dusk's Dawn are humorous, DR is pretty much a spit to the face to many things. I like how you've tackled the review as well. You've pointed out a lot of things that I haven't noticed till now, such as how they had the nerve to rip out footage from Sonic Rainboom. How lazy is that? Sort of ironic too...
