Friend 1: One episode I liked was Read it and Weep, it's really funny with a fun little adventure with some homages to old adventure movies and books.
Friend 2: Alright. What's the worse that could happen

Recommending certain episodes while giving descriptions of the show that sound completely different from what it actually is and actually make it sound worse

Friend 2: What are good episodes?
Friend 1: Twilight's Kingdom and Canterlot Wedding! First one is about the Princess of Friendship fighting some giant demon. It's like Dragonball Z with cute horses, it's full of giant lasers and explosions!
Friend 2:.....
Friend 1: Canterlot Wedding is a lot more badass than it sounds! They fight an evil army of bug people and it's full of badass fight scenes!
Friend 2: Don't cut yourself with that edge
Friend 1: What? It's not some lame old girly show
Friend 2: Yeah. Shit sounds like it's trying way to hard to be dark and edgy
