Memorable words from Owen Hart. A few months before he died
"I would like to kind of just disappear, from wrestling fans and stuff. I don't want to forget the fans and what they've done. They've supported me and stuff, but at the same time, I'd like to just ... I don't want to be hanging on like one of these wrestlers who's sixty years old, saying, 'Hey, I'm a wrestler.' Let it go. Make your money out of it and get on. Going out and performing...it's an art. I'd like fans to remember me as a guy who would go out and entertain them, give them quality matches. Not just the same old garbage every week...”
Owen was somebody who i always admired as a Wrestler and a person in general. I feel like he was one of the most underrated Wrestlers in of all time, getting overshadowed by his brother Bret Hart and he was also the first guy in the locker room who would talk to you, if you felt down, or have any sort of problems.
His Match against his brother Bret Hart at Wrestlemania, is still one of my favorite Wrestlemania matches and just showed what a great wrestler he was.
RIP Owen. You will be missed.
