hello everypony, just wanted to ask something regarding fan game called 'Silent Ponyville' (bronies that have been in the fandom since the beginning might know what I'm talking about.)

For those who don't know what I'm talking about, Silent Ponyville is (or was) a fan game of Silent Ponyville fanfiction by SamRose. It's a crossover between Silent Hill video game franchise and ofc MLP:FIM. Back in 2012 I remember finding the trailer of the game and immediately being interested (even though i was like 9 years old). The game was not too shabby and also it was just a small demo so you couldn't do much. I'm not sure if there was a team behind this or just a single person working on the game, I've heard both so im not sure. 

Anyways, as of recent I found myself thinking about the game. I wanted to check it out on youtube (the trailer) but it's deleted (and the channel that uploaded the video is gone too...). I quickly went on google, searched up silent ponyville game and nothing came up (only some random pages and EquestriaGaming post about it). I genuinely had high hopes for the game, it was doing pretty well, didn't look too bad.  But like every mlp fangame, in the end it got abandoned. But what's strange is that if you try to search it up anywhere, you can barely find anything about it, as if it never existed. There's a short video of the gameplay and some other random mlp game that goes by the same name and that's...it. No trailer, no blog, no download links, nothing. 

Today I tried to find the trailer using Wayback machine but legit nothing comes up. I did have luck with finding the blog but there's not much on it. 

What I want to say is, does anyone know who were the people behind this game and where are they now? are they doing okay? and is there any other way to find the trailer? wayback machine did not help at all. Any kind of help is welcomed.

Ah, silent ponyville. A huge hype was had back in the day.I was expecting it sooooo badly.

Can't say I know much of what happened with the developer. Dude was making the game on Blender, but sadly by 2012 he announced he had been busy or something and the project was on hiatus until new notice, and a year or two later dude said he hadn't forgot about the game and would try to get back on it. By 2016 the blog and trailer were still up.

I still have the christmas special demo on my computer. I'm not sure but I think the source code was included on it.

This year I noticed the trailer disappeared from youtube. Sadly, because the music was good enough for the thing. I bet I can dig a bit more around the clover field, if you're interested.

It would be so awesome if you manage to find anything else about this game and the dev. I've been searching left and right but nothing is coming up :c

And I know, it hurts when pony game projects banish in thin air. Unfortunately, some were abandoned so early on nopony ever thought about backing their stuff up.

Pretty much, the fic creator and the dude that started making the game had several issues and suddenly the dude that was making the game said fuck it. xD

I'll look for more information on it. Hope that's enough for now, though.
