I feel ashamed to be considered as a friend by you. We once had a few chats together but, to me, it feels like it was decades ago. My own problems seem so small compared to yours now. If you want it, we could try to talk more often together. I'd like to be a better friend to you. Now that I think about it, there are so many people that I see reacting to my posts who I have no idea of who they are. I'd like to also extend my offer of friendship to anyone else who would like to talk to me and maybe become friends.

I don't see my situation as "terrible".  I always try to look on the bright side and have a positive attitude.

I also have rods in my spine due to my scolosis. However, they are made of titanium.

No, it doesn't. The weeks after the surgery does hurt because they open your back and screw some metal rods  into your spine, but now it's just as if I never had this surgery. However, this is not important.

Don't be sorry for me or I'll be sorry for you. I live normally and I'm able to easily bend my back to reach down, regardless of the rods in my back so no need to feel pity for me.
