As a christian myself i can say that guy was an idiot! Just because your atheist doesn't mean you're satanic nor does the type of music you listen to. That's like saying you like rap because your ghetto. Overall the kid sounds like a D-bag. I would flip if somebody stole my soda (gotta have my Sugar-high). About the music I listen to, 95% of the time Satinsm is just used for shock value. A lot of the bands I listen to are atheist, they just want to give their music a darker sound.

Yeah, still. That's called 'symbolic Satanism'. It doesn't necessarily involve actual belief in any form of deity or powerful being so you can be considered an atheist, agnostic, etc. while being considered a symbolic Satanist.

To make an initial mistake is one thing.  corrected this kid by saying he was an atheist, and the kid still insisted that he was a Satanist in a clearly provocative manner. I don't think it's so much about what he called him so much as it was that this kid was deliberately trying to pick a fight, or at least to piss off Neighvana666. I think we're pointlessly getting hung up on definitions, here. Even if he were a Satanist, that kid has no right to mess with him.
