Vicke 3,189 Posted June 16, 2013 You are supposed to pay full price for a game that is only in Alpha. Maybe there are some cuts, like 10-20% but that is not the problem here. The problem here is the price. 83Euro for a game. Outrageous. Link to comment
Dimitri Hammer 3,645 Posted June 16, 2013 Off topic, but I dislike Euros.... Also, that is lot of money for video-motion game thing.... Link to comment
Nohbdy 4,108 Posted June 16, 2013 Maybe it's actually more expensive in alpha, since you also buy the privilege of getting involved in the game's development, as well as early access. Link to comment

Never heard of that before. Its not like you are causing trouble when you are playing the Alpha. Developers often wants you to play it, so that you can give them feedback. That's why you often get it cheaper while its in the Alpha stage. Link to comment

That shouldn't be the case. Latest game I Alpha & beta tested (and still testing) was KSP (Kerbal Space Program) and I bought it for 21EUR... Link to comment
Chigens and Kay 3,832 Posted June 16, 2013 They wanted the price to be the same as their alpha's price (for it to be fair for people who supported their kickstarter). It will be reduced down to ~$60 within a few months. 1 Link to comment

And to be honest, it's not even worth 60 dollars. Kerbal Space Program is still in development, and you can buy it for about 21 dollars on steam. A fair price, and in all honesty, it's worth more... 1 Link to comment

(Holy hell, i just realised how much the Swedish kroner has gone up. 1 Euro used to be around 11SEK. Now its hardly even 8SEK xD) I will agree with RKA here. Others are not supposed to be hit because some people want to donate to their kickstarter. If they want people to buy their game they better have a reasonable price tag. 1 Link to comment
