I like the samsung galaxy s4 better because it has a bigger screen and the only thing that basically changed is the look of the iphone 5. They didnt really add any cool features like the Galaxy s4 where you can just wave your hand to scroll and answer a call. The iphones are basically all the same and i get tired of it. But im not hating on the iphone 5 i just like trying new things. And i heard the 5S is coming in fall. If they change the screen size and add some neat features i will buy that

I would personally get an iPhone 5 if you don't have an iPod or any other device.

The iOS App Store is so much better than the Google Play store, it's ridiculous. If you've got an iPod, meaning access to that App Store, then don't bother.

The Galaxy S4 is much better as a personal phone. There's many more things that are customisable and whatnot, making things feel more personal, and really just more fitting. However, the S4 is really made out of some low-end materials, in comparison to the iPhone 5. I'd really advise getting a case, because the phone is not very durable.

The iPhone has very little customisation, but it's a lot more stable and reliable. Also, again, it has the App Store. The App Store has much more high quality apps and whatnot, so if you just want your phone for games and whatnot, go for that, because they'll both run more smoothly, and be generally better. I'd also would suggest the iPhone 5 over the Galaxy S4 for people looking to get a phone for business purposes. The apps (to my knowledge (I don't deal with business matters)) are much more compatible and useable than the ones on the Google Play store. Things are, again, much more reliable and stable. Also, the phone is seriously indestructable, I swear. I wouldn't even personally bother with a case, but then again, I'm just careful with my devices.

Summed up, though:

Nicer UI, Personal, Customisable, More potential = S4

Stable, Simple but bland, Better apps = iPhone 5

You can make a choice based off your preferences for these kinds of things.

I would personally go with an S4, since I have an iPod, which means I have all of the App Store available to me, which is basically the main appeal for iDevices in entirety.

The Play store is getting a lot more apps though.

I just hate Apple because their products are so expensive and they quit giving you updates after what, a year? And they're so restrictive. You can't do anything really with your iDevice as far as customization goes, as you said.

I don't mind the flimsiness of the S4, since I don't drop my phones that often. :P But yes, a case is always a good idea.

True. Especially with Android phones becoming more and more popular, nowadays. Perhaps the Play store will get better in the near future.

It's not like they're even really that bad to begin with. It's only the free, low budget apps that make the Play store seem horrible.

Yes, I suppose a case is always good... Although I hate how they make phones look. :w
