I feel like people are just giving up hope, we all need to push for happiness and strive for it and if you see somebody who's sad and maybe lonely try to talk to them and let them know somebody cares. It's true in your life you will go through bad times but you simply have to push because the good times will come in time and the feelings you will feel then will outweigh most of the bad times

Humanity has already been depressed.

It only seems like a recent occurence, because it's only recently that people have started paying attention to it.

The human race is it's own downfall, maybe it is starting to realize that.

I'm so tired of people being so negative if you can see that the human race appears to be depressed then try and do something about it. All i hear now is people talk about the way the world is and there's nothing can be done, if you see something wrong try to fix it and stop giving up so easily.

We are naturally hardwired to see negativity in commonly good things if something bad occurs.

The only reason we whine and moan about it, because we live in first world countries and have time to bitch about pointless things.

There are actually tons of things that are out of our control. Take for example, this whole Syria thing. If war were to happen, what could we do? There is nothing that could be done. There are many things in this world that are just like that though on a smaller scale. Sometimes, things are indeed hopeless. I know some humans don't want to realize that but this is a harsh reality.

I'm sorry but i disagree, i think many people chose to say nothing can be done and the things are hopeless because they are either too afraid to take responsibility or they have given up hope.

Or just maybe, there actually is nothing that can be done. I know some people don't want to admit such a thing, but human beings are not destined for anything. Sometimes, things just don't work out or cannot work out. Bad things happen whether we want them to or not. They way you are wording it sounds really strange. As if you are demeaning those who realize the hopelessness of a situation when it is rightfully so.

Dogs cannot comprehend difficult things, and they are happy nearly all the time Same with other animals. We are the only ones that are truly intelligent, and because of that, we cause a lot of problems for ourselves.
