Welcome back to this series explaining a little of the OC's i created and the process to do so. It has been some time but its better late than never so lets continue with Faith Bastion, the Kind Giant and the third one of "the Corners",

There were some key concepts in creating Faith Bastion, Religious Devotion, Might, and Kindness, yes I am using the "cliche" of the gentle strong guy with him but adding a reason to it. You see for me as you maybe read on the previous entries is all about the purpose for a story and for Faith I am aiming to show how deep and serious the teachings of Princess Celestia and a "possible cult" that worship her.

Think here for a second, Celestia is a savior, that fought chaos itself and defeated the eternal night, she is the bringer of light and had made enormous sacrifices to protect Equestria ant its Ponies. She is immortal, terribly strong and in her the feats of the 3 tribes converge... I dont know about you but in a time of darkness and fear a figure like that could be considered a goddess.

So Faith Bastion is the unimpeachable example of devotion, he follows the teachings of the sun as a dogma for living, believes that his actions, destiny, might, failure and even success comes from the will of Celestia, this brings so many good things for him but also so many problems and deceptions. Is that the right way to be? is it the wrong? I frankly dont know but I try to show with him what "situations" can exist imperfection follows and tries to be perfect.

Faith is a titan, considerably bigger than Big Mac and possessing the strength never seen before in the pony kind, even as a foal he was unique and imposing, he was quickly recuited to be part of the royal guard and kind he was a hero and indoctrinated with the teachings of the sun goddess. He believes his skills and features are blessings given to him by Celestia for him to serv her and he did becoming a hero in the dark times of the realm and the first earth pony to be the Princess Personal Guard. All to be decorated as one of the Corners, commanded to defend the south of the realm.

Well there he is the third hero of the mith, a pegasus, a unicorn and a earth pony each tribe represented on the figure of a magnificent pony that displays the best of their race. What can the 4th corner be? will the equilibrium be broken that will be revealed at the next entry of this blog.
