I find THIS Interesting

I got a funny look from the librarians at school today. You see I checked out this non-fiction book, they asked me if it was for a class and I said no, I am reading it for fun. I find it extremely interesting but many other people find it extraordinarily boring. The book is call Math and the Mona Lisa: The Art and Science of Leonardo Da Vinci. Only 3 chapters are solely devoted to him but the book is a fascinating history and explanation of art, science, and mathematics in the ways that the connect to each other. It discusses the golden ratio and the Marquardt mask(look it up) and lots of history about the rennaisance and development and cultural growth and scientific and mathematical advances and such. It is by Bulent Atalay, it ws published in 2004 and costs 12.99 american dollars.

Here is a linky link-->http://www.bulentatalay.com/book.htm

I hope you read it (or not)

That sounds very interesting. I personally love reading about both art theory and science, so the two combined into one book sounds like it's definitely worth a read.

That does sound fairly interesting. I'm not big on art history, but I am big on science, and Da Vinci was a pretty awesome dude.

Haha, I've actually seen this book, but I decided to take an art history class instead. Kill 2 birds with one stone.
