While I was busy throwing the Pokemon with the wrong ability and nature, I realized that the egg production level was low. -
Apparently, breeding 2 different Pokemon that has the same trainer ID gets a 20% egg production rate.

2 of the same gets a 50% production rate.

Sure enough, I recently hatched a male Marill.

So now I'm breeding a mother and her baby together.
