  She has a light blue coat with magenta eyes and a rainbow mane and tail.

• Backstory

  Rainbow Dash got her cutie mark in the summer flight camp. When some bullies attacked her and Fluttershy verbally, she challenged them to a race. During that race, she discovers her passion for flying fast and winning. when one of the bullies passed her, she speed up until she did the sonic rainboom, which caused her to gain her cutie mark.

  Recently, she had joined the Wonderbolt Academy. She was paired up with Lightning Dust, but Lightning's recklessness by creating a tornado ends up putting Rainbow's friends in danger. After having a spat with Lightning Dust about her recklessness, Rainbow Dash nearly quits before Spitfire interferes and kicks out Lightning Dust instead. Because of this, Rainbow Dash still is in the Wonderbolt academy and still is interested in becoming a Wonderbolts member. However, this has created a rivalry between her and Lightning Dust.

• Personality

  Rainbow Dash's element is loyalty, so she will always remain loyal to her friends even if betrail is tempting. This is seen multiple times in season beginnings and finales. She will always help her friends out when they need it. 

  Rainbow Dash is very competitive and she loves to win. She absolutely despises losing, as seen in fall weather friends. However, she understands that being overly competitive can cause problems with her friends. 

  Rainbow Dash is very confident in herself and her abilities, but sometimes she becomes overconfident and that could lead to problems, such as in The Mysterious Mare Do Well.

  Rainbow Dash has been known for being kind of brash and blurting out what the first thing that appears on her mind, but she has acknowledged that it is kind of insensitive and is currently working on this though.

  Rainbow Dash is known for being mischievous sometimes and has often pranked others. However, these pranks have caused Gilda to lash out at her in Griffon the Brush Off, and now they are no longer friends.

  Rainbow Dash is very self-conscious about how she appears in front of others. She often hides the more feminine parts of her, such as avoiding others at the spa, in order to appear more tomboy. 

  Rainbow Dash is often seen wearing sunglasses when lounging around outside.

  Rainbow Dash loves cider and despises pie.

   "Alright, meeting dismissed," Spitfire said. The team filed out of her office in response. While the rest of the Wonderbolts scattered, Rainbow Dash walked with the two new members.
   "Oh my gosh, Rainbow Dash winked at me!" Swift exclaimed. "Oh my gosh, this is so exciting, she's the fastest flyer in Equestria, and an element of harmony! I mean, that's cool..."
   Rainbow Dash laughed. "Yup, that reminds me of how I acted when I first became a Wonderbolts member, Swift. Nice to meet you two,"
   "I was born ready!" Siwft exclaimed.

   It was cramped. Spitfire's office barely fit the entire Wonderbolts team, yet here Swift Wings was, standing right in front of the Wonderbolts captain with fellow cadet Empire Jack. It almost felt unreal. Swift Wings could barely contain their excitement. Given the rest of the team was present, they had a pretty good feeling about why the pair was called in here.
   "Alright, Swift Wings, Empire Jack, our two most promising cadets. We'll need you two in the show once it starts in Cloudsdale, flying!" Spitfire announced, looking up from the pair's files and pointing at the pair. The rest of the Wonderbolts tapped their hooves on the ground in applause.
   "Oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh we're Wonderbolts members now!? I mean, that's cool," Swift Wings exclaimed before calming themselves down to maintain a professional look. 
   Rainbow Dash giggled before winking at the pair.

   "Yeah I fight bad guys, and I'm in the Wonderbolts. What can I say? I'm pretty awesome," Rainbow Dash replied, raising her eyebrows up and down as she swept her mane back dramatically. "You want to show me what you got?" Rainbow Dash was always excited when young pegasi were eager to fly. It reminded of her when she was a filly and she discovered her love for flying.

   Rainbow Dash was casually flying along at night when she noticed a young filly by the edge of a lake. However, something was off about that filly. She folded in her wings and dived towards the edge of the lake where the filly was located before opening her wings at the last second, sticking a landing next to the filly. "An alicorn filly? Ok well this day just got a whole lot more interesting," she said to herself.
   "Wassup, young filly?" Rainbow Dash asked.

   Rainbow Dash smiled and sighed with contentment as she leaned back in her chair. She was confident that Sandy Fire would come to like it here in Ponyville. And while Rainbow Dash knew that adjusting wouldn't be easy, Sandy Fire would manage just fine. Rainbow Dash wasn't sure what kinds of changes would happen in the future, but she was sure that together with her weather team, they would be tackle any challenge thrown at them with an optimistic view.
   (This seems like a natural place to end the RP.)

    “Hey look, you’re my niece, and I know that it’s really challenging to move to a new town and try to fit in and make connections, but you’re doing really well. The other weather team members have been talking about how much you have helped them all. Sunshower Raindrops in particular has mentioned how hard you have been trying to improve your firefighting skills. You might not believe me, but I’m proud of you,” Spitfire said, giving Sandy Fire an empathetic look.
    Sunshower Raindrops waves from across the table and Rainbow Dash smiled, still trying to make it seem like she wasn’t eavesdropping on others. Soon enough, the pasta arrived.

   Rainbow Dash sighed. She hated, no, she despised paperwork. It was always so needlessly tedious and when it came to new applicants, there was a lot of it. She wanted to go to the Cloudsdale Weather Cooperation and give them a piece of her mind, but now wasn’t the time for that. Right now, there was a new applicant that wanted to join the Ponyville Weather Team.
   ”Right, where was I? Oh yeah, so you want to join the Ponyville Weather Team. right? What made you decide to join? Sandy Fire, right?” Rainbow Dash asked. She tried to remain in a casual position behind the desk, but she her nervous shuffling of the papers kind of ruined that.
   While it was quite cold outside with overcast weather and snow on the ground, inside the Ponyville Weather building up in the clouds, it was quite warm. It was a small but modern cloud building that got the job done. Most of it was for filling paperwork anyways.

   Welcome one and all to our new and improved Ask Thread! Come on in and take a look around. We've got snacks, refreshments, and plenty of room for guests.
