   Charlotte smiled at White Light's comment. She had never really considered herself as 'someone of high stature', but she would take the compliment anyway. She was also happy to see how excited Shiny was about having her friend join in on the party.
   "I'm glad to hear it! So, since you said you wanna join, here's what you need to do. There's a sign-up sheet on the table here on stage, write down something that you'd like to share with the rest of your friends. It should be something like a hobby or special interest you have, something that you're proud of that you can show off to everyone." She explained.

   Charlotte nods in agreement. "Yes, I feel the same way. But, any of them can still come by and sign up. The more students that participate, the better. I don't want anyone to feel alone or left out, but at the same time, I won't force anyone to partake if they don't want to. It's totally up to them."
   Just as she finished speaking, one of Shiny's friends came forward.
   "Hey there, White Light, and welcome! I don't recall seeing you here before, you must be new! My name is Charlotte and I'm the president of the student council here at Canterlot High. Good to meet you!" She extended a hand. "Right now I'm trying to organize a back-to-school party! Would you like to join?" She asked with a smile.

   "Mhm!" Charlotte nodded and smiled. "I do. But only if you want to, that's the important part. You should pick whatever makes you happy, and whatever you're proud to show your friends. That's what the point of the event is, for you all to get to know each other better."

   Samurai’s description does little to convince Charlotte to try some, especially after watching her brother’s reaction. She will, however, grab some of the shredded cheese before Silver puts it away.
   “Oh! You guys don’t need to do anything!” Charlotte exclaims. “You’re guests, after all. Just leave them by the sink and I’ll take care of them. Then I’ll go get Ayla, and we’ll meet you at the blacksmith.” She explained.

   Charlotte listens intently as the two samurai explain about their homeland. “Oh, ok! I get it. It sounds like your country is quite large, and there’s a lot more of you samurai, too. If you don’t mind saying, how does one become a samurai? Are you like, born into it, or is there a vote? Recommendations? Maybe none of these things at all?” She asks, giggling a bit.

   Those who chose to show up to the information session would arrive at a well-lit gymnasium with a few rows of chairs set up in front of the stage at the other end of the room. As the students make their way over, Aticus and Shiny may notice an acquaintance from earlier has also decided to check things out, Silver Star. A podium has been set up in the middle of the stage, with a table next to it. At exactly 3 pm, a girl walks out confidently from backstage and stands behind the podium. She would wait a few moments for the idle chatter to die down before addressing the group.
   “Hey, everyone! For those who don’t know, my name is Charlotte, and I’m president of the student council. If this is your first year, I’m sure you’re wondering what this back-to-school party is all about. Rest assured; you’ll get all the information you need to know.”
   Her emerald green eyes scanned the crowd briefly, as if she were looking for somebody.
   “So, what’s this party all about? Well, it’s all about you! That’s right, this event is made especially for you to talk and share about what interests you the most. Now don’t worry, nobody has to give a speech, nor are you gonna need to stand in front of a large crowd. This is what I will need from you if you wish to participate.”  
   She picks up a clipboard and places it on the table, pushing a stray strand of long, dark pink hair away from her face. 
   “This is the sign-up sheet for the event. Please write down your name, grade, and the activity that you will be doing. After that, please talk to me about it, so we can discuss what you may need. I will stay up here for a while, so that you can have some time to think about what you’ll do. This event is a great way for everyone to get to know each other better through discovering common interests. Remember, as always, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask me. I love to help!” She said with a smile, stepping back from the podium, silently signaling the end of her announcement.

   A loud, friendly sounding female voice comes on over the PA system.
   “Attention, students! I’m Charlotte, your student council president! First of all, I want to give a warm welcome to everyone starting their first year here at Canterlot High School! Please don’t hesitate to reach out to your student council if you have any questions or concerns. Now then, I am happy to announce that in three days, we will be holding a back-to-school party! This is a great way for students to meet new friends over a shared activity or interest. We’ll be having a meeting in the gymnasium at 3 pm today for those who want more information. We’ll also be looking for volunteers to set the event up and host activities, so please come down and show your support for Canterlot High!”

   Charlotte’s announcement ends, and the teachers continue their lecture. Eventually, the bell rings, signaling the end of the school day. Anyone interested in finding out more about Charlotte’s event should make their way to the gymnasium and wait for the meeting to start.

   It was another hot, boring day at Canterlot High School. It was the first day back from summer vacation, and there weren’t too many students keen on what the teacher was lecturing about in class. Most of them found things to distract themselves such as idly doodling in their notebooks, twirling their pencils, or counting how many black dots they could find on the ceiling. Relief would finally come when the loud sound of the bell ushered in one the most important times of the day: lunch time.
   Nearly every student in the school now made their way to the cafeteria to peruse the selection of food prepared by the staff for the day. Today, the menu options were hayburgers with hayfries, an assortment of fruits and veggies, baked potatoes, and chocolate chip cookies for dessert. The numerous windows in the room let plenty of natural light, showcasing the beautiful, sunny day that awaited them later on. Colourful posters on the walls advertised the school’s dirt track racing team. As it was the first day of school today, a mixture of both excited and anxious student filled the room. Some are in line to get their food, others have taken their seat at a nearby table, while others mill about the room looking for a spot. The room is noisy, so softer-spoken students may have to raise their voices in order to be heard.

   It's a beautiful day. The sun is shining. The wilderness is quiet. Any mythical or supernatural animals are nowhere in sight and nowhere to be heard. However...
   Somewhere in the middle of this specific forest lies a lone cherry blossom tree. Can this be right? It seems out of place surrounded by all this green.
