"Yeah, I suppose you're right." Fiona thought for a moment. "You've already evolved once. What...what does it feel like?" She tried imagining herself as a Venomoth gijinka, as well as Apisves as a Beedrill. It was a little hard to visualize, as she had never seen gijinkas of either species.

"Hey, the best offense is a good defense, right? Maybe you could keep hardening until nothing hurts you, then strike when your opponent has been worn out by constant (but ineffective) attacks." Fiona had a lot of free time growing up, and she loved Pokemon battles. Eventually she learned some strategy from watching them, and she even managed to invent her own. She still couldn't figure out how to put the mildly numbing poison on her feet to use, though. "It could work, if you learn a good enough attack."

Fiona stared at his shed skin, a little surprised. "Well, I have some weirder abilities than that, although I don't think they'd help in a fight against 'Dragon Dude'. I can see really well in the dark, which comes in handy sometimes, but as soon as I see a light anywhere, I have to try really hard not to stare at it for an hour. My bug brain is attracted to light like a Venonat, and it can get really embarrassing when people start looking at me funny because I've been doing what looks like lamp analysis. That's actually what I was doing when you bumped into me, so actually, thanks for doing that. I'm not sure if the lunch bell would've snapped me out of it."

She decided not to mention her more disgusting ability yet. Oh gosh, she thought, that's going to be really hard to cover up if I have to change my socks in the presence of my roommate...

"Chew toy?" Fiona's irises shrunk at the thought. "Some rowdy students, huh? Wait, why would you sprinkle stun spores on yourself? Isn't that like asking for a trip to the hospital? I must agree with you on the food, though; lunch and dessert tend to be the highlights of my day, but I'm hoping there will be cooler things than just that at this school. I actually just arrived - I got the times mixed up for when we were supposed to get here."

Wait, what?! Of course I am interested. I will even draw fanart of Apisves and Kage if it comes to that. Though my drawing is shit

Okay, we HAVE to make this happen. This is happening. Now. I still want Apisves and Fiona to be friends, and this is only going to happen if there is enough reason for me to find Fiona and Kage a legit potential (at the moment it's more of a comedic idea). Also, Fiona is seriously non-competitive.

    ...but F*beeep* THAT SH*beeep*! We're doin' it!

Fiona stared wide eyed at Apisves for a moment before laughing so hard she nearly fell out of her seat. "Ohohomygohohod! And I thought I was a fast eater!" After a few minutes she had calmed down, and she thought for a moment about his question. "Uhm, well, it was some potato-cheese soup, a few pieces of bread with an oil sauce, and a stuffed red bell pepper, filled with kinwa, some veggies, and what I can only describe as mystery meat. Did you just get really hungry from training, or was that your normal speed?" She tried to suppress a second giggle fit.

"Yeah, I guess Muk would be a whole ton worse, wouldn't it?" She laughed. "You know a Gengar gijinka? Ghost types are really cool, at least in my opinion. They can fly without wings, and some of their moves are pretty epic looking. But hey, bug and poison types can be...good? Sometimes? At least we're not Feebas', let's just leave it at that." Fiona chuckled again. "Hey Apisves, have you had anything to eat yet? You can have the rest of my lunch if you want. I'm not super hungry right now."

"Yeah, I get where you're coming from!" she giggled. "You were pretty close with dustox, though; I'm a venonat. Now that I think of it, venonat really isn't too well known among bug types. Probably the most popular are butterfree and beedrill. You're lucky you evolve into beedrill. When I evolve, my wings will send out scales that poison or paralyze anyone around me. I'll have to put plastic covers over the things!"

She blinked. "Beat you up? Wha-?" Fiona decided it would be best to drop the subject. "Can you really not tell what I am? I'll give you a hint: look at just my head." She motioned with her hands around her mouth, trying to indicate mandibles. Apisves ought to be able to figure it out, what with the mandibles, her large red irises, her antennae, and her fuzzy purple hair.

"Ack!" Snapped out of her daze by a sudden body slam, Fiona fell into the table. Thankfully, there was no food in her way. She vaguely heard an apology escape from the person who had knocked into her. "Wh-what?" Her eyes soon focused on the figure, who appeared to be a bug type gijinka boy. "Oh, uh, that's fine..." Assuming it was an accident, Fiona smiled at the boy sheepishly, trying to show that she was okay. "H-hi. I'm Fiona. Nice to meet you, I think." Her head hurt from hitting the table, and she wasn't thinking too great.

  11. Fiona felt...out of place, to say the least. She saw groups of friends hanging out while she had yet to meet anyone. She sat surrounded by people, and yet she was alone. The venonat girl knew the feeling all too well, but she had hoped she wouldn't be feeling it among other gijinkas. A quick eater, she was already half finished with her meal, and she didn't want to be that one kid who's done eating and just stares off into space, looking as bored and antisocial as a squirtle that's retreated into it's shell. Speaking of staring off into space, Fiona's eyes suddenly landed on a light hanging from the ceiling. Her bug instincts took over, and she looked at the light in fascination, transfixed. Now, she not only looked like a loner, but a creepy one at that. Oh joy.

  12. Fiona ran as hard and as fast as she could from the car and into the building. Of course, she had to get the times mixed up for when she was supposed to arrive at her new school, and her mistake was realized all too late. A few hours late, to be precise. Upon entering the building, the secretary took notice of the new arrival and directed her to her key and her new room, mentioning that it was now lunch time. Fiona thanked her, grabbed a key with her name on it, and bolted up to the dorms. Dorm 7, huh? She thought to herself.

Entering her room, she spotted someone's stuff on one of the beds, and she deposited her bags on the one adjacent. There would be time to unpack later, so Fiona practically flew downstairs to lunch. Hopefully she'd at least be on time for her meal. Once in the cafeteria, she grabbed a plate of food and looked about for a vacant seat next to someone who looked friendly.

Alright, done with the new bio! Hope you enjoy. (By the way, I just stuck my character into a random dorm room, so if you'd like me to move her elsewhere, that'd be just fine.)

    Name: Fiona

    Age+Grade: 16 years old; 11th grade

    Gender: Female

    Pokemon Half: Venonat

Abilities: Fiona has extremely good night vision, and she is often attracted to bright lights when it's dark out. Her feet secrete a slightly poisonous liquid that's much more of an inconvenience than a fighting benefit, and it causes her to have to replace socks and shoes frequently.
Appearance: She has short, fuzzy purple hair with a pair of white antennae sticking out towards the front. The bright red irises of her eyes (the colorful part) are a bit too large for comfort, and she has no pupils. Fiona's face is very average looking, and she has an average build of body to match. The outfit she wears most often is a maroon tank top and worn, light blue jeans, along with a pair of black Vans.

Personality: Fiona can be a little bit shy and introverted, but she's very happy and energetic with her friends. She is drawn to bright lights, and it embarrasses her whenever she realizes she's been staring at a light fixture for almost twenty minutes. Her antennae irritate her to no end, looking weird and always bumping into things, and she frequently wishes she wasn't a gijinka. She is not a very forward person, and will often try to fade into the background. She's a total bookworm, no bug pun intended.

Backstory: As kind and supportive as her parents were, Fiona never managed to have pride in her Pokemon half. Constant teasing always accompanied her wherever she went, whether it was meant for her to hear or not. The jokes and rumors got worse and worse as time went on. It went from, "She's a total bug brain!" in kindergarten to, "I'll bet she eats bugs like Venonat!" in 4th grade, and in middle school, it had reached things like, "I hear she's into Pokemon! Hide your Eevees!" Sometimes people would throw Pokeballs at her to see if she could be caught. These hateful comments wounded Fiona deeply, and her friends wouldn't even step up to defend her. Sometimes friends would actually stop talking to her altogether to avoid the social consequences. Upon hearing that there was a place for gijinkas like her - Angel Academy - she knew she had to go there. There would be other gijinkas just like her, so discrimination was no problem. She could start her life fresh with new friends and a new knowledge of her Pokemon side....and a small part of her wanted to be able to Venoshock all of the bullies from her life. Yeah, that would be nice, too.

Other: Fiona was adopted and raised by human parents in Santalune City in the Kalos Region.

    Dorm#: 7
