  1. The Cult of Laughter - Just Outside the Manehattan City Dome

The dome dropped, and Derpy hoped that the unicorns would take a while to remove it. "If we go to the Fillydelphia Hideout," she said, "they'll know where it is. Let's throw them off course! Wind, you carry...Lilo! No, wait, Lila!" She giggled. "Lilo is my doggy. Anyways, let's go!"

She took to the skies, flying as fast ad her damaged wing would let her. She would have asked Lila to heal the wing, but Lila was having a similar problem. Much worse, actually. It eventually started to get to Derpy, too. Her wing was extra sore, and it was starting to cramp up. Oh no.. she thought. Her wing snapped shut, and she spiraled towards the ground. Slowing her progress with her other wing slightly, she plummeted towards the ground. The earth hurtled towards her at an alarming rate. She crashed on the rocky ground, cutting her skin. Dirt entered her wounds and she cried a bit. Sitting up, Derpy ate a muffin to help regain her strength and hoped Lila and Wind weren't too far behind.

  2. Uhh, story actually. I finished the intro on fimfiction.net

    heres a link to it

    http://www.fimfiction.net/story/89158/equestrian-battlefield

im about to start on the first chapter so idk if you guys want to check it out or something. Tell me if you like, dislike, improvements.

That's awesome! I'll try to read it sometime, although I'm kinda' busy with RPs and homework for now...

It was kind of cool, because we're setting up a love quadrangle, which had now turned into a septangle, if that's even possible?

I don't know why, but it looks like if Somber and Silent now interacted, that would be a great scenario to play out.

AAAHH! Math incorrectness! It's quadrilateral and heptagon, not quadrangle and septangle! Sorry, I just couldn't resist

  3. Actius noticed a pretty mare smile at him. She was kind of cute. He smiled in return and nodded. "Howdy," he said in a friendly manner.

When the train approached, he levitated his now somewhat battered bags and handed his ticket to the ticket pony. When he came in, the mare who had smiled at him earlier was bumped into by a lavender unicorn stallion. She got up and pointed to a sign. Was she mute, or just being shy? He decided not to ask and walked by the pair. "'Scuse me." He also noticed a small, vibrant green mare who was looking about curiously. Huh. Will there be more beautiful mares on this train? he thought to himself.

Actius soon found his room and, taking off his scarf and hat, put his suitcases on his bed, then tried to find wherever breakfast was being served.

(OOC: No clue what rooms are taken. Oh, and by the way, if anyone wants to talk to Actius, now would be a good time)

  4. House Everfree (Maybe?) - The Royal Castle Ruins - Lady Fluttershys' Dining Hall

Jades' eyes widened a considerably large amount when the Lady spoke of her being a personal student. "It-It would be an honor, My Lady. What is the pledge you require?" She tried very hard not to show her enthusiasm, although it did peek through her sorrow a bit.

    She still didn't smile, though.

Trying not to pay attention to the...awkward...situation the Lady was putting the stag in, Jade looked around the room and tried to identify various types of plant life.

The Cult of Laughter - Soaring Above Manehattan

As Derpy flew, she noticed the dome put around the city and the tiny dart speeding towards her. Unsure of what to do, she prayed to the Laughing Mare. In hushed chants, the Laughing Mares' presence grew stronger and stronger, until she was very, very close to the mortal realm. The dome became blood red and emitted an eerie glow. The dome rose somewhat, but only slightly, just enough for a pony to slip through.

The dart flew with immense speed, and it hit Derpy in the wing. The pain was horrid, and she looked angrily to where the projectile had come from. She spotted the pony who had fired it, a unicorn stallion who looked very tired. Derpy came at him very fast at first, but soon the injury to her wing took effect. She cried out in pain and glared at the unicorn, a fire in her eyes. She lunged, once again, this time folding her wings and going in a straight dive. She knocked into his horn and gave him a whack, not hurting him too much, before seeing that the dome was slowly lowering. She heard the Mares' voice, sighing slightly in the effort to keep up the dome.

"LILA! WIND!" Derpy called. "GET OUT! FOLLOW MY LEAD!" Then she flew, in the same manner as she had attacked the stallion with, towards the opening with a raging battle cry: "FOR THE MUFFINS!!"

(OOC: If this seems too OP, let me know. BTW, if you want @MagicalStarRain, you can have Derpy, Wind, and Lila get caught)

  5. Actius ran through the train station at top speed, jumping over miscellaneous luggage, sweating and panting all the way. His horn glowed as he used magic to drag his bags rather unceremoniously behind him. "I'm gonna' miss it! Why am I always so late for stuff?" He arrived at the tracks ten minutes behind schedule. "No! Man, this would've been so nice!" His gaze wandered and happened to fall on a board with the train arrival and departure times on it. Apparently, he had been wrong. He was two hours early. Well, he thought to himself, I'm two hours early. Why did I have to be so early? He leaned up against a stone support column in the station and awaited the Friendship Express.

While he stood there, Actius wondered why the ride was so cheap. It was a luxury train with all sorts of amazement aboard, and it cost less than the taxi to the Buffalo station. When he thought about the wonders the train held, he started to ponder what he wanted to do. The tour of this town sounds pretty fun, and I've only been here a day or two, so I didn't get to explore much. Eh, why the hay not? Once I get settled into my room, whichever one that is, I'll go. Well, if it's still going on by the time I unpack my stupid, overstuffed bags...

  6. The Cult of Laughter - Manehattan (The Inner City) - Somewhere In The Streets

Derpy and the other cult mares had been through a few shops and found no crowns. Manehattans' guard was probably up by now, and maybe they had heard of the Cults' plan. Aw, Derpy thought, why do they have to be such cupcakes? She darted out of the shop they were currently in and jetted up into the skies, hoping the others would follow her example. She flew away from the city, but not towards the Cult, in an attempt to throw Whitegold off their track. We could message some of the, uh, ... ponies! Some of the ponies in the Cult in Manehattan to find the crown, and we could always find Tondraks' other magic thingy. Energetic from the flight through the city, Derpy flapped away into the blood red sunset, inhaling the scent of rotting flesh and decay.

The Cult of Laughter - The Fillydelphia Hideout - The Prophets' Chamber

Pinkie Pies' body moved somewhat, and it looked as though it was crying, now embodied by the Mare. "It is desolate and barren, void of all life," said she in a cold, distant, eerie voice that echoed through the chamber. "Contacting my followers is a strife. It is torture with no end, a world that could leave even me dead. It is impossibly hot and impossibly cold, but most of what it contains cannot be told." Her voice shook somewhat when she spoke. Then she told Tondrak, "If it is me you wish to free, I'm afraid it is the duo that holds the key." She leaned forward so Pinkies' nose was very close to Tondraks'. Then she withdrew, Pinkies' lifeless carcass appeared once again lifeless, and all was silent.

  7. I usually stare at the wall or Roleplay something horrible to my cutest of characters, like their head being slowly... er.. khem, nevermind.

Let's just say i'm good at making up horrible tortures.

Yeah, I'm kinda' unusually good at torture scenes too...a bit too good... DISTRACTION!!  Aww, look at that cute...face...ahehehe...

Put Fluttershy in a locked room (no exits) with another random pony and one of three things will end up happening. 1. She'll cut their heads of and feed it to the wolves. 2. She will ignore them. 3. Hawtness. Might need to refine that list at some point.

Oh my. #3 is scaring me quite a bit. That...that's scary, dude, that...I'm gonna' try not to think about that.

    • Brohoof 1
  8. I'm in?! Yay! Thankyou! I'm pretty caught up with the RP, so I should be posting shortly after they arrive in Buffalo in the morning. Oh, and just wondering, how soon will passengers be leaving the train? I kinda' wanna' know if Actius is just gonna' be sitting in his room while everyone else is taking a tour around town.

  9. (OOC: Wow, you guys just love posting while I'm out)

The Cult of Laughter - The Manehattan Inner City - Interrogation Room #6

Derpy looked at the interviewer. He wasn't buying it. She looked at the girls. They were bored. Time for plan B. Yay. "Plan B on the count of pi," she whispered. "One...two...three...PI!" She yelled. Swiftly she pulled a dagger out from the folds of her dress and cut off her blindfold, then hit the stallion with several blows in quick succession, which would wound him terribly if not kill him. She discarded her dress and bolted towards the door. She used her wing blades in her bag to smash the door down, and then rammed into ten more guards, knocking them to the floor. Flying at top speed out of the place, she headed to town. Now this is the fun way to do a mission!

(OOC: @MagicalStarRain  @Flamey : I'll PM you guys about plan B when I have the time, ok?)

The Cult of Laughter - The Fillydelphia Hideout - The Prophets' Chamber

Pinkies' corpse stirred, and it spoke, the Laughing Mare controlling it, but it only moved its' lips. "Do not go to aid the Mad Prophet - we shall see if from this she profits." With that, Pinkie Pies' mouth closed, and Crankys' face assumed a frown. "Fine." he said. "You are dismissed, Prophet Tondrak. Good day." He turned and exited the chamber.

House Everfree (Maybe?) - The Castle Thingy - The Dining Hall

Jade was shocked by the Ladys' offer for dinner, or command really, and bowed her head slightly. "Thank you." She turned and headed into the dining hall after Fluttershy, and sat two seats down from her at the table. She noted the pose Lady Fluttershy took when sitting, and noted the Ponyman [that's all I got for puns, sorry] posture. Her father had gone to college before the war, and he had taught Jade some things about history, and this happened to be one of those things. Her father often quoted inspirational Latin phrases, and it reminded her of her dad. A pang of sadness came,  but she tried to hide her feelings and refrain from slumping her shoulders.

The Cult of Laughter -  Manehattan (The Inner City) - Some Raindom Inquiry Room

Derpy dabbed her eyes with a handkerchief in a ladylike manner. She hugged and patted Lila, saying, "There, there." She sniffed. "The nice officer's not gonna' hurt us, darlin's, don't you fret." *sniffle sniff* "Wh-what...what do ya' wanna' know? I wasn't there when," *sob* "when poor little Light here got..." *sniff* "Oh, heavens!" She started crying quite a bit. After a little while, still congratulating herself that she hadn't messed up her acting yet, she said, "I'm sorry, officer. Please continue."

The Cult of Laughter - The Fillydelphia Hideout - The Prophets' Chamber

When Tondrak posed his question, Cranky grinned a bit. "Well," he said after a serious fit of coughing, "I may have something for you to do. You are aware of Prophet Derpy and some others questing for your crown? I think they may need a visit from their uncle." His grin grew broader. "You'll need this." Cranky tossed a fake beard to Tondrak. "We'll get you a carriage to take you. Just say you're their Uncle who's caught up with them. You know more than anyone what your crown looks like, so why don't you accompany those girls? If there's any bloody scene, they were probably involved, so just ask around and you'll probably find them." This was not a suggestion, is was an assignment. "Pack some things. You're going to Manehattan!"

    • Brohoof 1
  11. Okay, now the mission is kind of at a stand-still. I mean, they can't just discreetly grab the crown now, and Manehattan is on the lookout for Cult activity, and the mission team stuck being "hospitalized", so. Yeah. That's a problem.

Sir Flamey from Dancyville and Marathon, let me know when you want to switch to plan B. We should wait for both of you to post before going ahead with that, since Marathon may be a bit behind, judging by the recent lack of posting (which is fine, by the way). Just so no one gets confused.

  12.

The Cult of Laughter - The Manehattan Undercity - The Gate

Derpy screamed in horror. It was a really convincing one, too - she had seen enough scary movies to mimic a good scream. "Light!" she shouted, using Winds' fake name. "This is horrible! What should we do?" She knelt down beside Wind and started murmuring, "You'll be fine, you'll be fine, you'll be fine -nice one!- you'll be fine... " She looked at the guards. "Don't just stand there! Get help! A doctor! Somepony! And tell those archers to stop shooting! Oh, the poor thing..." and she went back to murmuring.

"If they find us out," she whispered in a hushed tone, using her normal voice, "then how 'bout we fly over the city, ransack all the shops until we find the crown, take some ponies, eat some muffins, fly off until they lose us, eat some more muffins, then go back to the hideout. 'Kay?" She directed her next few sentences rather loudly at the guards. "Stop waiting around! Get some help! What are you, a cupcake? GO!" She was hoping they would go away quickly so she could review the plan more with Lila and Blood Wind, and an insult like that was sure to make them leave. After all, cupcakes are just stuffy muffins, and no one likes stuffy muffins. They taste funny.

  13. Hey Star...Do I have permission to kill off the guard ? Of course it depends on your next post...but if best comes to best...I mean...worse comes to worst...can she kill him ?

Dang it...really ? STAR WAIT...I GOTTA EDIT MY POST DON'T POST YET AAAAAH

Hang on...i'm going to go just edit this thing.

    Love the sinister post...hehehehehe...

I've been on the go all day today. Dental appointment. Skating rink with my brothers. I won't be able to make a full post until about 9:00 EST. And that's a rough estimation.

Is Evergreen still with Jade and Sand and Fluttershy? I'm not sure, from your guys's posts.

No problem, I've been pretty busy lately too - I've kinda' just been avoiding homework... I'm doing it now though, don't worry!

Yep, Evergreen is now present for Jade spilling out important bits of her life. Yeah, this will get really weird really fast.

    • Brohoof 1
  14. Cookie isn't alive yet...he still needs a brain. But hopefully my idea will work...we will soon see...after Star posts...

No, I mean shall he become Cookie. Don't think that's the idea, though...

P.S: You should be able to assassinate secretly - Derpy is deploying the muffins (distraction)!

Drifting (Hopefully In House Everfree Soon) - The Everfree Forest - The Castle Ruins

Jade was a little shocked by the cruelty of Lady Fluttershy, but not that shocked - it must do things to the mind, being in the forest for so long. She thought she remembered being in Ponyville when she was very little, seeing Fluttershy heal a wounded bunny. That certainly didn't look like the Fluttershy in front of her, who, while beautiful, was quite beastlike in a way.

Bowing her head slightly in respect, Jade spoke in a calm yet determined tone. "Lady Fluttershy, I have come here to join House Everfree. Evergreen showed me the way here, which I am grateful for, and Sand," she paused and looked back at him. "...tagged along. My name is Jade. If I appear melancholy, it is because I am right now and I have reason to be. If you are wondering why I want to join the House of Everfree, it's because..." She couldn't really describe it. Why had she come? There was only one way to really answer that. "It takes some explaining, but I'll try my best." She explained how she had gotten her cutie mark. She had drawn an orchid because she felt somehow drawn to it, like she shared a connection with it. After that, she rarely got outside growing up, and she longed more than anything to go out. When her parents died, she knew she couldn't stay. She automatically chose to go to House Everfree. When she approached the forest, she could sense everything breathing in unison, as one big organism. "I don't know if there is anything else can convince you, but if I am not helping the house, I don't know what else I can do." She had vowed to herself to avenge her mothers' death and more or less destroy the Cult, but she was certain she couldn't do that alone. "That is all I have to tell you, unless you want to inspect my belongings."

@ MagicalStarRain  @Sir Flame of Dancerville

The Cult of Laughter - The Manehattan Undercity - The Gate

"Now why'd ya do that?" Derpy asked the guard who had slapped the muffin-loving guard. "I worked very hard on those muffins! Are ya sure ya won't eat one?" She held out pumpkin muffins for each of them on her wing, trying in turn to distract them, because she knew what Wind would do.

  16. Having some confusion on what's happening in the houses (and the Cult)? I think I can help.

This is what I got so far:

    The Cult of Laughter

    1. Lila and Red "Blood" Wind and Prophet Derpy are going on a mission to Manehattan to retrieve Tondraks' crown (while kidnapping ponies for fun).

    2. The Twins are trying to perfect The Gift.

    House Moon And Star

    1. All unicorn members are going to Hoofington to watch what they don't know is going to happen - Twily's gonna' open a portal to the Astral Plane...or at least try.

    House Earthborn

    1. They are launching a fairly large attack on someplace, and I think it mentions where in the original post.

    House Whitegold

    1. Sweetie Belle and Descant are singing a duet, and Lady Rarity is in the audience

    2. Borders are being secured for fear of cultists entering the city

    House Everfree

    1. All deer are trying to find Lady Sparrow (Lily), and Rain has succeeded.

    2. Jade (my OC) is entering the House.

    House Stormwing

...IDK, those guys have been quiet

  17. House Whitegold - Manehatten - The Wall - The Gate

The gatekeeper was getting more and more frustrated by the second by these stubborn mares. "No money and no inspection means NO ENTRANCE TO THE CITY!" he shouted harshly, attracting the attention of some of the lower-class ponies that lived aboveground as opposed to underground. One of the other gatekeepers looked hungrily at the muffins the pegasus was eating, before the other gatekeeper snapped at him to keep inspecting instead of having daydreams about muffins. Without another word, he(the first gatekeeper) used his levitation magic to slowly lift Wind's bag off of her.

The Cult of Laughter - The Manehattan Undercity - The Gate

Startled by the sudden outburst, a few crumbs fell from Derpys' mouth as her jaw dropped slightly. She then said, "Well, we woulda' paid th' entrance fee, if you'd've told us how much it costs!" Derpy looked at him confusedly for a minute. She wasn't happy with this guy. He didn't seem nice. When he didn't bother to tell her the price still, probably trying to see how much money she would offer, she took fifty bits out of her money pouch and dropped them at the hooves of the rude guard. "That enough?" What more could he possibly- she turned her gaze to the other stallion who was staring hungrily at the muffins in her basket. Ohhh... Feeling very proud of her new idea, Derpy stepped up to the pony. "Sir, ya' looks like yer hungrier than a horse! Would ya' like to try a muffin?" She said the last word before taking a bite of a cherry-walnut muffin, its' delicious aroma blowing in the wind towards the guard. Derpy may not have very good negotiating skills, but she sure knows how to bake an outstanding muffin.

The Cult of Laughter - The Manehattan Undercity - The Gates

When one of the guards tried to eat one of her muffins, Derpy did her best to restrain herself, although it wasn't easy. When hearing Winds', or "Light"s', comment about looking at her belongings privately, Derpy wanted to laugh. What did she have in there? And what would happen to that guard? Hehehee... Waiting for everything to be checked, she started eating more muffins.

    @Descant  @Higurashi

Drifting (Almost in House Everfree) - The Everfree Forest - The Castle Ruins

Stunned, Jade turned to Sand. "You were following us?" She was a little bit confused as to why he would need to follow her, but soon decided to drop the subject. The three headed into the ruins, and Jade noticed the plants thickly covering the walls, and  all of the creatures scurrying and scuttling everywhere. If Evergreen hadn't helped me, I could have mistaken the ruins for forest and passed right by it...

(OOC: Sand is there now, right?)

  19. House Whitegold - Manehatten - The Wall - The Gate

By this time, almost all of the defenses have been set against the arriving Cultists. The only thing left was to set the spells on the treasury and take all the artifacts away from the shops to the arcane district for inspection and protection. That was all the gatekeeper knew. To him though, this whole thing was pointless and the heads were overreacting. The Cult was so zany and mentally unstable in his mind that he couldn't picture a bunch of crazed ponies sneaking through the city searching for a stupid crown! But still, orders are orders, that he reminded himself when a carriage showed up and a grey pegasus mare stepped out of it. As much as he wanted to just go against orders, it didn't stop him from saying,"Not unless you pay the entrance fee and pass inspection. And same goes for the carriage, too." He was careful not to reveal the reason why.

The Cult of Laughter - Manehattan Undercity - The Gates

"How much eeyis it?" Derpy inquired in her odd accent. "And what are you gonna' inspect? There's no poison in these, if that's what you'z is asking," she said holding out her basket of muffins. "The last time I was 'ere, nobodee had to inspetectify me! Why'z security so tight?" She had actually only been to Manehattan a few times before to deliver messages, and she entered secretly. She had no idea that security actually had increased, she just had a bad feeling about the carriage being inspected. Nothing important was in there, but you can never be sure all of the skulls have been successfully cleaned out.

The Cult of Laughter - The Fillydelphia Hideout - The Twins' Bedroom

Cranky Doodle entered the Twins' room and was surprised and a little angry to find them goofing off. "What are you doing?!" he yelled. "Why aren't you studying or practicing? You need to perfect The Gift if you're going to have it ready by next month!" "Next month?" the confused twins said in unison. "You can't expect us to have it ready by then!" Pumpkin shouted. "Pumpkin was nearly reduced to tears last time!" Pound Cake said protectively. "Study." Cranky said. "NOW." He was not to be argued with. The Twins sighed and opened some ancient text books, beginning to read. Cranky left the room, and Pumpkin said gloomily, "He really is Cranky, isn't he?"

Drifting (Almost in House Everfree) - The Everfree Forest - Southeast of The Royal Castle Ruins

Noticing the sudden burst of flowers resulting from a magical outburst from Evergreen, Jade assumed she had said something wrong. "I'm sorry, is...is that not how ponies talk anymore? This may sound strange, but I haven't really talked to anypony in, um, ten years." Why did I just tell her that? I never tell anypony that! Well, I haven't talked to anypony in ten years, so there have been no opportunities to tell ponies that fact.

  20. ~snip~

Drifting (Almost in House Everfree) - The Everfree Forest - Southeast of The Royal Castle Ruins

"Hm?" Jade said a bit distantly. Realizing what had just happened, she replied, "Oh, um, yes!" and trotted up behind the mare. She was a little sad upon discovering that she wasn't still a little filly in her old home. While walking, she took a minute to look at her surroundings. It was a darker, scarier place than she had realized, not calm at all. There were a few growling noises coming from the bushes, and many lush vines were tangled on the ground, which Jade found herself often tripping over, along with some twisted roots. Her face was rather dirty at this point, but she decided not to let it bother her. Something them occurred to her - she didn't even know the name of the mare in front of her. A bit tentatively in case this was not something that was to be discussed, but still firmly, she asked, "So you know who I am, or at least my name, so who are you?" While she said this, she watched a bird fly by, chirping cheerfully. It lightened Jades' spirit a little after what had happened the night before.

  21. ~snippy~

Drifting (Almost House Everfree) - The Everfree Forest - Southeast of The Royal Castle Ruins

Jade looked at the wild-eyed pony before her and wondered how she had had such a connection with those timber wolves. "My name," she began, "is Jade." Realizing how foolish she must look, she straightened her posture and proceeded speaking in a somewhat more collected tone, although the little bit of fear she harbored was not entirely concealed. "I am looking for Lady Fluttershy and/or the Everfree Liege. I wish to join House Everfree." Jade wasn't certain this was the wisest thing to tell this pony, but she had controlled the timber wolves, and it was no illusion. She was of the Everfree. "Can you point me in the right direction?"

Jade was at her old home, barely two years old, and she had gone outside, noticing a beautiful flower. She painted it very well, including even the delicate veins on the petals. She got her cutie mark for creativity that day. Joy pulsed through her, and she was elated. She had painted the flower because she had felt a small connection with it, like it had a story, a song, a life...

  22. NO

NO NO NO NO NO DON"T YOU DARE!!! NOT THAT SONG!!!! NOOOOOOO!!! ROSE!!!!! NO NOW I"M GONNA CRY AGAIN!!! *sniff* that song always reminds me of that moment.

It does surround the inner-city. There is the main city or the inner-city. Then the Under City. People sometimes think the Under city is only underground but it also composes of everything outside Manehattens walls.

Yeah, I kinda' cried while posting that, but if you read Jades' bio you can see why that fits her.

I really want to rant angrily at the Doctor now, but that would be Spoilers (River Song reference) and I don't know how to do the spoiler tab.
