@MagicalStarRain: the marks look like the zodiac symbols :3 The marks appear just like a cutie mark does And tge ceremony is pretty simple, each town constructs a decorative stage, and put the 14 year old ponies on it for up to 10 hours until all 12 marks have been confirmed to have appeared. @Alex: Sure! I don mind if hes the son of another OC, I just thought it doesn't make sense if he is the son of someone who died about 144,000 years ago xD

@Alex: I really like this character, but I think it would be a better idea to have him as a descendent of rarity instead of her son, seeing as all of the mane six died out thousands of years ago xD But other than that hes perfect :3 I would love to have him! @Not a Morning Mare: Yeah! Ah!! Good questions!! 1. The Chosen are selected to (hopefully) rule over Equestria; barely any ponies live to see more than one Selection, but they have passed down grand stories through the years, all telling of the grand journeys of past Chosen. Most ponies would love to be a Chosen, due to their ability to become alicorns, and many parents want their kids to be a Chosen, so they came up with a ceremony that 'helps the Choosing process' suposedly speeding up the process. If you are Chosen, you are treated like royalty for a few weeks, before being sent to the temple and then The Quest, ect... 2. It is important, because between times of Chosen tend to be times of chaos and dissarray in Equestria, making Chosen welcome almost always, (Although there have been times Chosen were killed due to their marks, but they stopped doing that). Without the peaceful/chaotic time period switches, Equestira would fall into permanent chaos, dooming ponies to extinction. 3. The duty for a Chosen at first is to get to the temple and try to complete The Quest, but afterwards (if they live..) they have the same duties as any other ruler. @Castoro Sure! Ok, Roleplay #2 :3 *takes deep breath* Ok, lets see if you guys like this one; So this is about ponies and zodiacs, I know some people have done similar things with ponies being associated with zodiacs, but I tried to put a bit of a unique spin on it, instead of having the sign as their cutie marks, they have a mark on thier foreheads that appears soon after they turn 14 (whatever that is in pony years xD). If this mark shows up they are called "Chosen." Chosen only appear once every 12000 years, and the roleplay takes place during the twelveth Chosen cycle. The Chosen are then sent/guided to a special temple, where they are greeted by the spirits of the first Chosen, the Ancestors. The Ancestors were the first and only full set of Chosen to have completed The Quest. The Quest is a long and trying journey Chosen must make to become alicorns, and bring peace to Equestria. While it is posible to complete The Quest if you are not Chosen, you will not be guided by the Ancestors, and if the Ancestors don't like you they may even kill you. Celestia and Luna are examples of non-Chosens who completed The Quest. Also, contrary to popular belief, alicorns are NOT immortal, and they are NOT gods, they are more of extremely long lived demi-gods with tons of power. Also, one last thing, just to shake it up a bit more, I have added elements! *WOOTWOOT* They are the original 6, (- magic) plus 7 more, that were originally hidden by Celestia or something I don't know. (by the way, the roleplay is set way after all of the canon characters have died off) Ok, so that is the lore of the roleplay, now that we've got that over with, and your attention (hopefully) grabbed, lets get to the roleplay rules, requirements, starting stuff, ect.. RuLeS: 1. NO GOD MODDING! 2. If something is magic proof, it. is. Magic Proof! e-o 3. Keep cussing to a minimum, it really ticks me off when every other word is 'fuck' -.- 4. Try to keep romance in check, yes, romance is ok, but no sex, any sort of lemon, don't Just write about it, ect.. 5. Ok, so to sum up rules 3 and 4 and to close loop holes, let me just say clearly, KEEP IT PG, Pg-13 at the highest!! 6. Desertrose poked Daff. "Uhm do you know where you're going?" "Of cour2e I do 2illy, I am going to where ever the dragon i2 going." Desertrose facehoofed and decided not to argue, the white dragon DID have Merp, and she had sort of proven herself trustworthy. Zamia carried the little pony's fish towards the empty crystal cave, she had a hunch that the Queen would send people to Aiicornia to recapture whoever fled there. She and her brother Nox were the only ones who knew about this cave, and she knew Nox liked ponies to. She just hoped the ponies would trust her enough to follow her.

Desertrose shook her head no. She quickly rushed to the little fish tank where Merp was kept. She tried to pull the tank out of the wall, but it was locked with a key. Just then Zamia rushed over and used her key to unlock the fish tank, she took the fish tank and flew out the window towards safety. Desertrose smiled at the fact that Merp was safe, but she was worried about how she was supposed to get out of a huge tall building without wings. She trotted quickly over to the hole in the wall, she looked down, Desert backed up dizzily. Just then somepony grabbed her from behind. "2up 2i2? Don't worry, I got thi2!" Desert turned and saw Daffodil carrying not only her, but also Scraet and Sayble too. Daffodil grabbed Desert underneath her front legs and flew off after the white dragon.

If you can give me proof it was your brother, in fact just convince me. If you can do so I will let you back into the roleplay. Zamia blinked surprized, she looked at the alicorn, he did seem to be in pain of some sort. She shrugged. "Uh, sure I'll bring him to you right now." She grabbed the bird cage and walked down the stairs to the cell door. She put the key into the lock and opened the door. She closed the door behind her and gave the alicorn his bird. "I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to cause you any harm." The white dragon said with a twinge of worry. She headed back towards the door... (OOC: uhm, I guess we could either pretend Fresh's OC never existed, or we could actually have him commit suicide, less graphically though :c )

If you had waited a little while, I actually have planned almost all of the plot for the entire roleplay.
