  2. I am Pansexual. All my friends are gay. Actually, most people I tend to hang out with are gay.((Well, over half of them, but not all)))) I've only ever dated one person before and that ended badly. ((She cheated on me with this guy Tyler , but my friends then proceeded to verbally beat the shit out of her)) Anyway, I don't really care who I date ((although I do have a slight preference for girls.))
  3. Whoa, thanks for the alert. It's fixed now :3

Not to worry friend, the crisis is over. I'm now working on the playlist, and music is a great calming method.

  7. It's early and I've already had too much coffee. Anyway, I just wanted to know whether or not I was the only Otherkin here.
  8. Christ, it's been a while. Eh, I had some personal things to take care of, but most of it's blown over now, so I don't see any interruptions happening in the near future. ((*cough* except for marching band*cough*))

  9. @, @ Date: Unknown Time: Unknown Location: Lucerna Sanctuary- 15 miles underground, just north of Canterlot. It's getting much harder to tell how much time has passed the longer that we stay here. I'm pretty sure the entire group has lost count of exactly how many days have passed since we arrived; you can never tell if it I night or day down here. It's an eerie place, to be certain, and only Celestia knows how long it's just been sitting here, abandoned. For a while, none of us were certain of what to expect. Celestia refused to give us the details of our expedition until the day of our departure. However, it is quite simple. All she wants us to do is figure out what happened here, as well as recover a couple of artifacts for her. Though if I'm being completely honest, I think she already knows what went on down here. I think this expedition has more to do with the recovery of those artifacts than the information itself. And though I can't think of any reason as to why the Princess would have an ulterior motive, I must keep an open mind. Anyways, I can only guess that it has been at least a month and a half since we arrived, and already, I have learned so much. Apparently, this temple ((or sanctuary, if you prefer)), belonged to an order known as the Lucerna. As far as I can tell, they were extremely exclusive, and were very few in numbers. It is also a very old order; I'd say a couple thousand years. They were lead by two "Masters" who, so far, are never mentioned by name. There were also four disciples, also known as the Origin, who were the first and oldest members of the Lucerna. It's been hinted that each member has some sort of special title that is earned through their time in the order. It is supposedly symbolic. Recently, I went with a couple of others from our expedition to explore the west wing of the Temple. Most had stayed behind at the camp or were scouring the massive cathedral we found a few "days" earlier. It's particularly hard not to notice all the mirrors everywhere, and truthfully, they're a bit creepy. I can't help but wonder why there are so many... Anyways, while we were making our way down one of the corridors, we found a massive pair of oak doors leading to what we think to be a library or antechamber of some sorts. Unfortunately, the doors are sealed, and it may take us a while to find a way to get them open.... -Silver Spectrum Date: Unknown Time: Unknown Location: Lucerna Sanctuary- 15 miles underground, just north of Canterlot. Just a few hours ago, we finally got the doors to that unknown room in the west wing to open! I was right, it was a library! There are so many books, I can hardly count them all! Just shelves and shelves of them, from floor to ceiling; two whole floors, all filled with countless pages of information! I can hardly concentrate, just thinking of all the things we could learn from these ponies! With all we've fathered in the past two months, we've just barely scratched the surface! I don't have much time, since we're nowhere near done exploring the library. I had high hopes, but never in my wildest dreams did I imagine it would be this big. We've got our work cut out for us... -Silver Spectrum Date: Unknown Time: Unknown Location:... Something's happened. I'm not sure what, but I just have this really bad feeling all of the sudden. Our Translator, NightBlade, disappeared two hours ago and nopony has seen him since. We're all worried. He's out there by himself and Celestia knows you could wonder this place for days and never find your way out. There's been talk of going out and looking for him, but a few of us have opted to stay behind in case he returns. And...I don't know if it's just me seeing things, or if maybe I've been spending to much time buried in those books we found in the library, but I think I'm starting to see things in the mirrors. I think this place is starting to have a negative affect, not just on me, but the group as a whole. And I- The entry is cut short by still-sticky splatter of steadily browning crimson. Blood. Apparently, whatever had happened, it had interrupted her midsentence. But at least she knew the story now. Or at least, what little of it she had written down. She would have to ask Agririon if he knew anything about the Lucerna. And if anything, they could always find that library...
  10. @, @ Silvia slowly opened her eyes, blinking rapidly. She stood with a quiet yawn, rubbing the last remnants of sleep from her eyes. Her head ached, but only slightly, and she could see Agririon moving about in the room they were in. With a small sigh, she sat back down and flipped open her bag, pulling out her journal. Seeing as they had reached a lull in their journey to the surface, she figured now would be as good a time as ever to read as much of the past as she could. She prayed it would help her memories return. ((I have several journal entries prepared, but I need to look them over first before I post them, or else they'll end up making absolutely zero sense.))
  11. @, @ Silvia nodded gratefully, curling up as comfortably as she could, tucked in one corner. In the twilight moments just between consciousness and dreaming, she could have sworn she heard a quiet voice whispering urgently in her ear. "Sleep while you still can. You'll need your energy in the days to come." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It had taken Desdemona no less than a couple of hours to explain to her what she had seen. It had only taken so long because Reminiscence had found it extremely hard to focus. The scenario they, as well as the rest of Equestria, were now facing had been the subject of many nightmares in the centuries since the war. Though she knew that nopony could have ever imagined something like this happening. In those final days, her Masters had sacrificed everything in the name of Equestria and its inhabitants. And so she, as well as the rest of the Origin, had never seen them again. Though the four of them knew full well what had happened and where they now where, it was never spoken of. As far as they knew, there was no way to reverse it without ruining everything. However, from what Desdemona had just told her, things were already beginning to unravel. "You were the closest, so I came to you first." said Dess, "But we still need to get in touch with Merlot and Icarus." "We?" Reminiscence stated softly, eyes narrowing. "Yes, we," Dess retorted sharply, "Rem, you know we need you." She was silent for a moment, before nodding slowly. She did know, and that was what frustrated her. They were all needed. Though she couldn't help but feel that, without the Masters, their chances of survival, of winning, were slowly dwindling away.
  12. @, @ Silvia nodded wearily, barely registering his words. The adrenaline rush had come and gone; and while she still feared for her life, exhaustion was beginning to set in. While she wanted nothing more than to rest, there were still others lost out in the darkness. She had no way of knowing just how big this cathedral was; for all she could remember, it could very well take them weeks to find the others. However, the prospect of even a few moments rest was quickly consuming all other thoughts. "I could sleep on nails for all I care, as long as I get some sleep..." ~~~~~~ Reminiscence had a tougher time recovering from the past. She now had a plethora of odd fears and phobias over this and that, especially of the darkness. It took years for her to be able to get a full nights rest without waking up in a panic. It took even longer for her to hear from anyone. But it seemed that today was the day that would change that. After a century of nothing but mourning, someone finally breached the silence; a familiar someone...someone from the Origin. She had been sitting in the living room, quietly flipping through a newspaper when she heard somepony knock on her door. Warily, she set the newspaper aside and made her way over to the entrance to her house. She opened it slowly, peeking over the side to get a glimpse at who might be bothering her at this hour. She nearly started screaming. There in her doorway stood a young mare with a dark navy and cream-striped coat, jet black mane falling in wild curls over one shoulder. Blank, sightless eyes gazed at her intently. "Dess..." "We don't have much time," Desdemona spoke quietly; urgently, "The seals are failing; they're breaking through. In five day's time, the Celatum shall be overrun...and the war shall begin anew"
  13. @@Life Giver The National Day of Silence is sponsored by the GLSEN ((Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network)). It is a day of action across the country in which students, from middle school to college, take some form of vow of silence to call attention to the silencing effect of anti-LGBT bullying and harassment in schools. Through their activities, students can speak out against harassment and organize for change in their schools and communities.
  14. So the Day of Silence is on April 11th! I was kind of curious and wanted to know who all might be participating this year.
  15. National Day of Silence is tomorrow! Im so excited!

  16. @, @ Silvia frowned slightly, shuddering at the distant roar echoing from somewhere within the cathedral. Once they found the others, hopefully they could meet with this "friend". She had a sneaking suspicion that the strange tome now resting in her bag had more than a small part in whatever had taken place here. ~~~~~~~ Far above them and countless miles away, in a quiet country town on the other side of the Everfree Forest, the sound of shattering glass rings through the air. The young mare standing over the shards is as still as a statue, face blank, eyes wide and glowing. Images are flashing violently in front of her, in her mind's eye, repeating over and over again before slamming to a stop. She stumbles forward, shaking her head in a desperate attempt to clear out the disorientation. This was the first premonition Desdemona had experienced in what must be at least a century. Never before had she glimpsed such a frightening prospective future; not even when she had predicted the great war... She winced, grimacing in pain. It was physically agonizing to think about; she still got phantom pains from all those countless battles. She didn't like to dwell on the final moments of the Sota Peilin. It never left her in a very good mood. But according to what she had just seen, despite the sacrifice her mentors had made, the battle was far from over. It was her job; as the DoomSayer, as one of the Origin, to warn the others of what was surely to come next...
  17. @, @ Slowly, she set the bag down in front of her and once more drew out it's contents. She still had more than a few journal entries to read to understand what was going on, and she had yet to even open the sketchbook. Hopefully, her new companions had some sort of information. "My journal, a sketchpad, and this...book...I think?" She really had no idea how to even begin to describe the tome, or even guess what is was for. She opened it, holding it up to display the various glyphs and runes jotted onto the parchment. "I can't read it, so I have no idea what it's for, or why I would even have it..." she said, "Do you think it has anything to do with what's going on here?" ~~~~~~~~ With a final, agonized shriek the beast fell before its victorious opponents. Thick, bubbling black blood ran in sticky torrents from the gaping wounds in its body, seeping into the dark earth. It's long, segmented legs twitched violently in its final struggles before it gave one last heave and lay still. "That's another one down," said the Pegasus, turning to face her companion, "but it won't be long until another comes to take its place." The Unicorn mare nodded in affirmation before closing her eyes and taking long, deep measured breaths. The brilliant emerald light coming from her horn dimmed to soft jade and she smiled peacefully. "The time is steadily drawing closer." she whispered quietly, "I can see them much more clearly now." She frowned suddenly, her expression twisting close to that of a worried mother. "But it appears we are no longer the only contenders in this race, sister..."
  18. @ @ The fuzziness clouding her mind slowly began to clear away, leaving behind the beginnings of another headache. She blinked slowly, processing the voices and shapes around her. There were two of them; a young mare and...a ghost? She shook her head, pinching her eyes shut before focusing on what they were saying. "Silvia." she finally muttered, "My name is Silvia." She turned her head, looking around worriedly for the bag she'd been carrying, only to find it still wrapped securely around her. Good. Maybe one of them would know how to translate that old tome... ((again, sorry for the lateness. Yesterday just wasn't my day...))
  19. Rest in Peace, Keyone Docher. We carry your heart.

  20. The instinctual need to flee that was built into all creatures was what most likely saved her life in the end. Silvia stumbled backwards, eyes searching the darkness in vain. The air in front of her whistled slightly before the sound of a body crunching effortlessly into the ground could be heard. Grit and loose rocks flew in all directions, invisible bullets in the gloom. The creature shrieked indignantly at having missed. It's just as blind as I am! she realized with a start. Without waiting for it to strike again, she turned and ran, sprinting what she hoped to be a straight line. It wouldn't do to run head first into a wall in the middle of fleeing for her life. She could hear the creature scrabbling after her, blindly blundering into walls and old antiques. It lunged, once again slamming into the ground with a cry of frustration. Even then, it showed no signs of letting up on its pursuit. How the hell am I supposed to get away from this thing?!
  21. There are moments were I get upset and wish MLP was real; because everything is so much simpler in Equestria. But then I remember that, technically, it is real. As long as the fandom is together, it exists within us. We'll always have a place to go and somepony to talk to. So yeah, Equestria would be amazing, but that doesn't mean we don't have everything we need already! ^-^
  22. She closed the journal, deciding she'd read the other entries once she'd found the others. At least now she was certain that she wasn't alone. Or at least... It hadn't started out that way. She stood up, looking anxiously down either side of the corridor, at a loss as to which way she should go. The darkness seemed to stretch on endlessly in either direction. With a sigh, she crammed everything back into the bag, plucked the torch from the mantle, and went right. It took noticeable effort to keep from jumping at every odd noise that seemed to echo throughout the entire place, from the quiet creaking to the occasional rumble. The torch was a small comfort and it made it much easier to navigate the ancient, crumbling hallways. "H-hello?...Can anypony hear me?" she called, voice trembling with the force of her unease, "Hello?" From up ahead, she hears growling. There's a crumbling noise as something in the darkness shifts in place, causing an updraft. The torch flickers once and dies. The enraged roar of the great beast does little to drown out the shrill, scream of terror. ~~~~ Somewhere else in the darkness, a mirror shatters.
  23. Shivering fearfully, she placed the old tome back on the ground before grabbing the journal. If anything, it was her only source of information now But then again... she found her self thinking, maybe there's a reason why I don't remember. She shuddered, thinking of the murky, violent memory that had just returned to her. Do I really even want to know? In the end, frustratingly enough, she knew the answer would always be yes. Scowling grumpily, she opened the journal, relieved to find the pages written in a language she could actually make sense of. With the torch still providing its light, she flipped to the first entry and began to read. ~~~~~~~ 21, September 7:41 PM I almost can't process what's happened today. I was summoned by the Princesses early this morning; it had to be one of the most intimidating places I've ever been. But when I got there, I wasn't the only one! Apparently, Celestia has organized an expedition to some, far off, obscure place, and she wants me to go! She wants me to write everything down; I'm supposed to record everything we find. In my opinion, I'm not nearly as qualified as some other ponies I know, but I'm not about to argue with the Princess. Meeting the others was a bit intimidating, but it went well; and they're genuinely great ponies. I'll have to start packing as soon as possible. We leave in a week or so. I can't say I'm not at least a tiny bit scared; apparently the entire place is underground. You never know what you could find in places like that. Though I'm sure we'll all be fine... -Silver Spectrum
  24. Gently, Silvia picked up the book and held it closer, scrutinizing every detail. It was battered and ancient looking; the torn, leather cover was caked in countless years worth of dust. It had no title. Carefully, she pried it open, hoping to get some information. It was handwritten, a journal of sorts, the still-dark ink standing out against the old, brittle parchment. What...what even is this? she wondered, brow furrowed in confusion, It's just a bunch of gibberish! The words, if you could even call them that, were barely legible, and obviously not written in a language she could understand. Although from what she knew, it didn't look like a language anypony would be able to speak. The words, written in rushed, curling calligraphy, were accompanied by tiny, extraordinarily detailed runes that only served to add to her confusion. Not only would one have to speak the language, but also have the ability to understand the runes to even come close to being able to decipher their meaning. Why would I ever have a book like this? she contemplated, I'd need some sort of translator- She's jolted out of her thoughts when the pain in her head returns full force, bringing with it violently flashing images and shrill snippets of frantically shouting voices and disembodied screaming. ~~~~~~ "RUN!" In all twenty-one years of her life, Silvia had never fled so fast. Her heart was pounding, numbing her entire body with adrenaline in an effort to keep her moving; to keep her from going into shock. She didn't know how to even begin to process what had just happened. She was covered in blood, having barely dodged out of the way in time before one of her colleagues had been torn to shreds right next to her. Her head was pounding a savage, merciless rhythm into her skull. She's only looked at the monster once. But one time was enough... ~~~~~~ All at once, the memory slammed to a halt with enough force to knock her to the ground, heart pumping unsteadily. She lay without moving for a moment, desperately trying to process what little memory she had just recovered. She was nowhere near close to having the whole story, but she was certain of at least two things. Somepony had been murdered right in front of her; in front of everypony. And whatever had done it was coming back to finish the job.
