I haven't had it for almost 5 years (got it when the hype was high in high school)....Needless to say it didn't last long. I compare Facebook to a refrigerator....You open it up, see what's inside...then you come back 10 minutes later and expect something different and appetizing to have appeared magically...

That's the great thing about having a fandom like this, meeting people from all over who have skills and knowledge that we may not have. You could say skill set available in the bony fandom is a "jack of all trades"....but I guess all fandoms have that. Learning about what other people know and seeing others' worldviews is what made this forum so enjoyable to me.

And all without fear. I really do not know a more effective way to divide a community and potentially turn people against each other than to instill fear. Good thing there is little if any fear of expression here.

That is how communities IRL should be. At one time, towns seemed to be that way...but not anymore. Sadly, the brony community can honestly been seen as humanistically better than real towns and cities. No matter who you are, you are accepted and your input is valuable to others. Whereas IRL, you may not even know your neighbor, let alone trust them

so I just used a USB with the latest Fedora and wiped it all, and now I'm back....yey!

Lol....I'm 5 months ahead of schedule. That can be seen as a good thing (i never gotten the May blues, it's too green to be disconnected or depressed)

I once had a foreign exchange student friend from Russia who absolutely hated it here climate wise. She explained that although it's often cold where she's from, it's pretty stagnate weather wise, no extreme heating or extreme cooling (well except lately if we follow the news). She told us that winters here are much harsher....

That really depends on which part of Russia we are talking about

Gosh, I haven't played since 1.6 beta. What got me back into it is getting onto a good friend's server as well as having a faster Minecraft due to my update in Linux. This old computer used to be so laggy that we just stopped because of how stupid it was.

As for annoyingly addicting, that's not all a bad thing

But it's no longer maintained, and thus I could not keep up with Firefox's new releases since 10.04 could not support the latest version. That's why I had to upgrade, because one of these days, I will no longer be able to use Youtube...So I got Xubuntu 13.10, but next April with upgrade to the newest LTS.

*will upgrade to newest LTS......which is 14.04. Ubuntu and Xubuntu are similar, but they are also different. (I reccomend doing research since it's hard to explain without showing)

I have Xubuntu instead of Ubuntu because it works better for older computers

I was thinking the same thing last month! You could see what a custom paint-shop would charge for the cutie mark and blue/green pin striping.
