Ableism, it is discrimination against people who are disabled.

Yeah, well apparently some people think that using the word "retard" as a casual insult is now inflammatory towards actual mental reta...oh wait, that hasn't been used as an acceptable medical term since, when, the late '80s? It's exactly that same backwards-ass logic that brands you a homophobe if you say "that movie was gay."

The sad thing is that kind of crap distracts from the legitimate examples of discrimination that disabled people often face as well as alot of the misconceptions about certain conditions that many people have. But some people care more about stirring shit up than anything else.
