  1. @@Windbreaker, Dove Marigold "It's okay, I have a ton anyway because.. well, I took a lot since I always overspend on these sorts of things. I was rather rude today - I had fun, though! Thank you," Dove bowed her head. "Please excuse me!" she waved, and made her way out of the cafe. She rushed back over to the hotel (avoiding the group in front of the cafe of course) and tried her best not to be noticed. She pushed through the door to her room and laid down on the bed. "Don't worry, Dove - you'll be out of here soon enough. You've got enough bits to last about six months - just find a way to leave in the morning." Dove stared at the ceiling pondering how to leave unnoticed until her eyelids felt heavy and fell asleep.
  2. @@Windbreaker, Dove Marigold "I am? How unsightly of me.. it's really nothing. It is our first day here, after all. I wouldn't want to ruin it. May I be excused?" Dove questioned, getting up - maybe too eagerly. Her headache was getting worse and worse and she'd probably blow it if she stayed for much longer. She slid some bits on the table - to maybe pay Poppy back for ordering and maybe she'd allow her to leave. "My sincere apologies about today. I know it wasn't the best, but I look forward to having you as my roommate."
  3. @@Windbreaker, Dove Marigold "Oh, it's nothing you need to trouble yourself with. I'm just.. thinking. Please don't worry about it," Dove smiled, but then resumed to her irritated gaze towards the ponies outside. She thought she had a chance to befriend Shadow, but that didn't look like it was going to happen. For some reason, everything Shadow did was annoying to Dove. In fact, anything anyone did right now was enfuriating. Maybe she just had a headache. She really just needed to take a nap, but Poppy would peobably be suspicious of her if she just tried to leave.
  4. @, @@Windbreaker, Dove Marigold "I was afraid you'd say that.." Dove said with a strained smile, waving her hoof. "Perhaps I could treat you tomorrow to make up for it. I didn't realize we were both so terribly busy. Well, nevertheless, it was nice meeting you, Miss Shadow!" she said, trotting away and sitting with Poppy to escape the awkward goodbye. Dove was obviously not in the mood to talk after encountering Shadow here, so she just looked out the window as Poppy swooned over Rosewood.
  5. @@SilverHeart, @@Windbreaker,@, Alice Mare Alice was a little taken aback by Silne's handling of the situation with the shopkeeper. The shopkeeper acted just like the one in the bakery too - maybe all the shopkeepers here were cowards. Witch Hunters were here to defend people against the witches, not hurt them - idiots. She decided that it would be a little stupid to give the people here any bits - but she decided to flick one of her bits to the man and followed after Silne. "Why'd you spend all your money on something stupid like this? You could've bought something more worthwhile!" Alice frowned, scolding Silne mostly because she wanted her to return them to buy candy. If they had some here, that is.
  6. @@FortyTwo42, Dove Marigold "You would? That'd be great!" Dove chirped, masking her irritation with a smile. "..Ah, what brings you here? I figured you'd be busy.." she questioned curiously, bringing a hoof to her own muzzle. Finally notcing what was panning out behind her, Dove decided to back away a bit from Poppy and.. whoever that mare was. She seemed annoying - maybe she could lecture Poppy about it once they were back in their dorm.
  7. @@Windbreaker, @@FortyTwo42, Dove Marigold "Ah, Ms. Shadow..! What a surprise to see you here!" Dove answered, somewhat strained. She didn't feel reassured at all before by Poppy's words, since she doesn't normally say things like that so easily unless she did it on purpose. "I'm sorry, it must've slipped my mind that I was joining my friend Poppy here for a snack.. would you like to join us?" Dove asked, hoping her answer would be no - she really had worse things to worry about.
  8. @@Windbreaker, Alice Mare Alice frowned and stuck out her tongue at Silne as she left to talk to the shopkeeper. "She's annoying!" Alice said with a huff. "You wanna buy something? Not here, I hope," Alice said, not in an irritated tone for once. Not even Alice could keep up a teasing tone all the time.
  9. @@Windbreaker, Dove Marigold "Ooh, this is thrilling!" Dove whispered, following after Poppy. She merely thought that they were going to listen in on what the two ponies were saying. She didn't think that Poppy would actually interrupt them. "Poppy, was that really the smartest thing you could think of?" she asked, but she quickly realized the tone she said it in sounded rather mean, so she decided to slump down behind the counter. Was she almost caught? Dove was thinking of escaping but that would've made her look even worse. She decided to just stay there and look insane while she looked around frantically.
  10. @@SilverHeart, @@Windbreaker, Alice Mare "Oh, it's just some stupid gems," Alice huffed, turning around and seeing that that girl from the ship and.. that other guy she talked to was behind her. "Don't get your hopes up - they're not selling anything that we should care about," she frowned, looking at the girl. "Who're you?" she asked, coming off as sounding disgusted to see her.
  11. Alice Mare Quickly growing bored again waiting for someone she recognized, Alice stood up and decided to see if she could buy anything else. She strolled around the marketplace again since she didn't really care about any of the other stalls or stores before since she just wanted to find a bakery or something. There were a couple of stalls selling stuff like swords and shields and stuff she didn't really need - her blades were just fine on her own so she didn't really need new ones. There were quite a few busy stalls but she didn't really need the things they were selling, but there was this one particular stall that seemed to have the most people crowding around it. It piqued her interest since Alice was a very curious girl and she had to go over to look at it. She tried to jump behind the people to see what was going on, but she was only met by more people in her ways. Alice lost her patience and pushed her way through (at least, that's what she thought she did - she was too weak to push through so she just slipped around some people) while shouting at some other stubborn ones to move. She couldn't quite see what was going on though even though she was at the front due to her height though. She had to stare at the stall for several minutes to see what was happening. (( You could make a post to show what's happening. ^^ ))
  12. @@Windbreaker, Dove Marigold "Ah, sure! I.. wouldn't mind that," Dove said, somewhat strained. She meant to go back to the dorm and count how many bits she got from that mare earlier. Unfortunately she'll have to stick around with Poppy more - she can't deny or she'd look suspicious. "Ah, why don't we go and find the others? I was a little worried I'm boring you," Dove said hurriedly, trotting in place.
  13. Alice Mare All Alice wanted was to get out of the bakery and avoid any conversation with that lady. Geez, what's her problem? She didn't do anything wrong - Alice was pretty sure she didn't look suspicious in any way either. This new place had horrible customer service, that's for sure. Popping a roll into her mouth, Alice began to look for any of the others to rub it in. There were a lot - a lot of people though - at least to her due to her height - so she decided to explore a bit more. There weren't any other stores that were particularly interesting to her except for a few other stores selling snacks. She was already tired from walking so she decided to go find the nearest bench and see if she could spot anyone from the ship. Not that she wanted to actually talk to them, of course. She was just bored. Honestly, she figured fighting a bunch of witches would be fun - instead of just lazing around at home or doing chores. Alice frowned - she didn't hear of any witches yet.
  14. @, Alice Mare Alice was a little confused at how this shopkeeper was actingg towards her. It can't be because of the swords on her back - it's not like Alice would murder the poor woman over two sweetrolls. She decided to attempt to calm the woman's nerves a bit - Alice thought that she won't get her snacks if she didn't - by giving her a small smile before digging around her bag for a gold piece. Alice gave the woman the piece and grabbed the bag. "Th-thank you! I will come back again. Maybe. Probably." Alice nodded, slowly backing away out the door in case the old lady wanted to say anything.
  15. Alice Mare After wandering around for a bit and looking at the signs on stores and buildings as she passed by, Alice got hungrier and hungrier by the second. That beef jerky was disgusting - she was never a fan of it but she had no choice. Now it was upsetting her stomach and she felt that maybe at least some juice could help her out. Would this place even have juice? She shook her head, thinking it not possible. She looked at the signs again and saw a restaurant across the street, but didn't feel like eating a meal despite how starving she was. Alice kept walking toward to where she hoped was where the sweet shop was when she finally reached the center of the town. There were a few people here already, but she didn't want to ask for help - she would look stupid. To her liking, Alice finally saw a sign for a small snack shop near the town centre - finally! She ran inside excitedly and explored its insides - there wasn't much. She looked at a menu on a chalkboard - well, there were cookies and ice cream. She's never tried ice cream before - she heard there was one flavor - what was it called again? Vanilla? - and she's always wanted to try it since it was invented. Without thinking and sparkling eyes, she stared at the person behind the counter. "Something sweet, on the double!"
  16. Alice Mare Being her ignorant self, Alice only listened to a little bit of what Tathla was saying, so she heard 'hunters,' 'justice,' and 'investigate.' She got bored fairly quickly. She heard that guy from earlier - the beef jerky one - saying that he'll be heading to the town centre. She was admittedly headed there too, but she didn't want to say anything since if someone else was there, she wouldn't be able to buy any sweets. She frowned, and with a huff she began to skip down the steps connecting the Violet Star to the dock. Alice didn't say anything to anyone, and began walking in the direction she figured had the most shops. She saw a couple of stores in the distance and looked around her as she walked - hoping to find a snack shop soon since she was already tired of walking. Walking was boring, and tiring. Maybe she should spend money on someone to carry her around instead of sweets. "I mean, anybody would want to carry me anyway. I don't need to buy one," she thought to herself, snickering. (( I'll end it there for now just in case you want to add anything to the environment. ))
  17. @@Windbreaker, Dove Marigold "No, thank you - I was looking forward to exploring this resort before I get to relax, actually. I could join you later, if you like.. I didn't realize this resort had a dock.. I didn't think it would because when we entered it looked like we were still in a forest - well, to me at least. If you need more bits, I could lend you some. I'll just have a scone and some green tea, if they have some," Dove smiled, standing up.
  18. @@Windbreaker, @@FirstPonySpectre, Alice Mare "I..I know! You're both lame!.." Alice frowned, puffing out her cheeks again angrily. She reached her hand into the bag and stalked back over to her corner. She began to mumble under her breath about how she could get those guys back for trying to hit on her and how she didn't like how jerky tasted like but it was the only snack she could get. And she still wanted snacks. Alice at times turned around again and glared at the guys hoping they would leave.
  19. @@FirstPonySpectre, (( I probably should have mentioned she didn't want a friendship unless she initiates it.. ^^' She'd like just crackers or something. )) Alice Mare "Mr. Pedo, are you sure you're not just saying that to deceive me or do something dirty?" Alice asked, even further away from the man. "You're big and dumb! You can't fool me!" Alice said, from behind a pole on the ship, shaking and puffing oht her cheeks.
  20. @@FirstPonySpectre, (( Added something to her personality that I think you should note for Masquerade. )) Alice Mare "It looked fun, that's why! Why else would I join? A stupid reason like justice?" Alice asked, her attitude completely changed for a moment - but then she was back to her old self not wanting anything to do with the man. "Why do you want to know? You want to get into my personal life?" Alice squinted suspiciously at the man.
  21. @@FirstPonySpectre, Alice Mare "...Are you a pedophile?" Alice asked curiously, quickly losing interest in the other guy she approached. "You really shouldn't hit on girls younger than you, it's really nasty," Alice said with a thoughtful look on her face. "Mr. Pedo, you want to know my name? It's Alice Mare!" she announced proudly, probably a good solid five feet away from the masked man. "Masquerade is a funny name. What were your parents thinking?" she asked, obviously having fun with teasing this man.
  22. @@Windbreaker, Alice Mare Alice looked at the two men about to spar with each other in disgust. After all that rough training, they're training again on their first break they've had in days? They were complete morons. Right after she's finished insulting everyone in her mind, she heard a guy ask anyone if they want beef jerky. "No thank you, that'll make me fat like you," Alice replied to the man with a sweet smile, skipping up to him.
