@, @@Randimaxis, Drone sighed as he waited and waited,he growled," Come the buck on!!" he yelled at the machine,he looked around and growled as he pulled up a chair,he sat and waited,he looked angry for once in his life,it wasn't like Emerald hasn't seen him mad before,but this was a different kind of mad,it's like he was determined,yet seething in anger. She's never seen him work on anything before,honestly,he hoped she never did. He becomes a different pony when he works. It's almost scary when he gets into his working state of mind.

I guess I was right." he looked down and then looked at Emerald,"Em...I-I don't think we should destroy it. It looks like a lot of work was put into this thing..."he looked down and looked into her eyes,"Emerald,you know I live for helping others,no matter their form,I don't even care if their human...You know that Em...Please,please don't make me dismantle it."he said,pleading in his eyes as he took up her hoof and held it in both of his," Em,Don't let anyone know about this,please."he said,his eyes were filled with worry and fear,his voice was shaking slightly.

He then looked at him,answering his question he said,"Well..It truly is a very huge step in somepony's life,I mean,changing from a normal flesh and blood pony like me,mostly, to being a full on robot,or cyberkinetic being is...well...It's scary. And ponies get very nervous,and it does hurt,especially when they don't know much about being metallic. It has lots to do with changing their actions,from being normalized in the society again,I just think the process could be a little less painful and comfortable,you know?"he said and looked down,"I remember the first time I had to work on a robopony. He was...well...he was slightly delusional,hysterical actually. He din't understand that he was a lot different from before. I had to rewrite some codes to conjoin with his bodily actions to his mind. It made me sad,he was in so much pain."he said softly and looked up at him,"Where di you come from?" he asked him suddenly.

@@Randimaxis,@, Drone looked around as he heard clanking and he saw Twitch and he smiled slightly as he waved him over after he got his meal,he puled out a chair for him and smiled," Hey bud."he said and looked at him kindly,he then pulled out a note card and showed it to him,"What do you think about this? It's a new design I'm creating for the latest Neural transistor,it's kind of like the thing you have on you now,but it's a lot more advanced,it establishes a better connection,making it even quicker from mind-to-body reactions." he smiled and handed the creation to him,but then his eyebrow twitched slightly as he thought about something,"I need to make something that makes it easier and a less painful process to convert from normal pony to robopony,or cyberpony."he thought a moment and sighed," The humans,they...well...they interest me. I want to see their world,I want to see Earth."he said almost as an afterthought but shook his head,"Bah,I could never do that,besides,my Excalibur frame couldn't handle the reentry process into the atmosphere." he said sighed softly.

@@Randimaxis, The receptionist smiled and slid him the documents he needed to sing,"That's all you need to sign sweety. When you get done,you can go eat lunch with the others,you can't miss the cafeteria on the 3rd floor." she smiled and went back to working on her papers.

@, Drone chuckled softly and patted her shoulder softly," Ah,my batty friend,you still do look cute when you do that."he blushed slightly and smiled and began to eat his lunch,he was thinking about some schematics he had pondered about a few weeks ago,and he took out a note card and started sketching something,while he had an apple in his mouth,he looked focused as he finished his sketch and cocked his head sideways and sighed,finishing his apple,he put the pencil to his lips and tapped them in thought a moment before he smiled wide and sketched something onto the original drawing,he looked at the design,muttering to himself and tilting his head side to side a couple times before he squinted in thought and shrugged to himself,he then put away the note card and the pencil,he looked at Emerald and smiled," I think I may have some free time later today,after the courses. Would that be ok?"he asked her kindly.

You said if I wanted to,we could do that again sometime?" he smiled slightly,"I hope he is too." he thought a moment,before shaking his head again and continuing on,he got his lunch tray and sat at the staff lunch table,he smiled slightly as he invited her to sit with him,he then looked around for Twitch.

He deeply wished to talk to them,yet,he didn't have a clue why,he was just...drawn to them.

For now,take the list. I'll talk to you later tonight. And Em...Don't forget about that date you promised a while back." he smiled slightly and walked out of his door,unlocking it beforehand and he started towards the cafeteria.

He let out his deep breath and looked down,his eyes were sad and solemn,he then looked up at Emerald,"Only if you promise me...promise me it's for a good cause. And I'm only doing this..because...because I care about you Em."he looked into Emerald's eyes softly.

@, Drone looked serious and nodded,making sure Twitch was kept in the dark,he made him go to the principal to get signed up for school,and he went to his room,sat in his chair and sighed,when Emerald came in he closed the door and locked it,closing the blinds, "Ok,What is it that you need?" he asked her,looking at her with a very serious face.

She was on her death bed,she was ill,she couldn't move,but she could talk. She asked me to promise her that I'll be there every day. I told her I wouldn't only be there for her,but I'll make it to where she can live the life of a normal filly,I'd make her well again." he smiled slightly remembering the day," Then after two months, I fabricated cybernetic implants that would heal her. I remember her face...it was...it was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life. Soon after,she got the operation done and she could walk,talk,act like a normal filly She was the most beautiful little thing. I played with her every day. I met her after school every day. Her parents had been long since dead,she lived in an orphanage,so...I did the only thing I knew I could do. I adopted her. She's now my daughter. She is in big business now,making lots of money,we see each other every day. It's basically a workshop where you can create your own projects." he smiled and looked back up to Emerald and walked up to her,"What is it?" he asked,looking her in the eye.

@@Randimaxis, Drone started laughing along with him and said,"Oh my boy,My son has come home!" he smiled at him and looked at him," It's ok. I thought it was funny. Though technically,I would be your God. I gave you life. I also gave you the ability to speak,react,and feel like I do." he smiled slightly, "Not that I'm saying I am one. I've only given life because I love ponies being happy. I like being able to be smiled at." He looked down grimly," A long time ago,my mother and father died. But then...Princess Luna hugged me from behind,she told me it was ok,that it's natural to be sad...But...we talked for hours,all the while I laid my head in her lap...Then,suddenly...I had millions of ideas just explode in my head,soon after that,the next day in fact,I started doing research,learning about robotics,technology,cybernetics. At the time,roboponies were just getting to be popular,but it was a tough process. So,I devoted my time into helping others. All these new models of roboponies,all the newest cybernetics,I have a hoof in it. I've tested all of it before it hit the market,I helped make almost all the frames and cybernetic implants on the market today. I changed so many ponies lives. Yet,I don't look for credit,I don't need to be known or appreciated to be happy. I just need to know I'm doing the right thing." he said with a smile at the end and looked up at the school building, "Well,we're here." he said and looked at Twitch kindly," Do you want to know the most amazing thing I've ever done?" he asked softly,but he thought about what he said," Oh-Um...You can live with me if you want to,I have an extra room that I don't use,It's pretty good sized and it already has a bed and a charge port."he offered kindly.

I created other inventions that made life easier,like the Hydrogen Drive Atomic Displacer,the thing that keeps the battery on your frame charged. It uses molecules of hydrogen found in the air and makes a very very small atomic disruption and created massive amounts of energy. The best part,it's completely eco-friendly. They use it in powersations too,just on a larger scale."he smiled at Twitch.

When he saw how complex his internals are he smiled slightly,"You know that capacitor in you,the larger one,the one that makes a neural connection. I made that. I built it because I was in a crash one day,I severed part of my spine and it cause a kink in my spinal cord. The doctors said I would never walk again,and I told them to wait and see. about a month later,I created the first Neural Transmitting Capacitor. Now,I can walk again,I have upgraded since then,but still. I made it."he smiled slightly at his accomplishment.

@@MarionEtte136,@,@@Akari of Duskshire, Draco raised an eyebrow at the sudden commotion and sighed as he watched the con-like wizard,he then saw Jake/Hyde and looked slightly intrigued,but he shared the same emotions that Agnes had,entertained and slightly annoyed,he then switched his attention from the two to the veteran across the cafeteria,he looked at Agnes and slowly stood up going to dump his plate,he passed by her and he glanced at her for a moment as he passed,he dumped his plate and walked back the way he came,and sat at a different table than the rest,he sat there,laid back with his arms on the table as his feet were crossed together,looking at Alex and Jake.

I don't like leaving roboponies just stranded,they have hearts too you know,they just come in the form or motherboards and servos."he chuckled a little,he understood that this robot wanted to be self sufficient,but he couldn't just leave him there,that would be heartless and mean," I can show you a few tricks to make your Gyroscope a little more reliable,and I could help with that voice card. It's truly an easy fix."he said as his armor started to retract into nothing but a metallic spine across Drone's back and he smiled at the robopony.
