  1. @@notten1, @@Sunset Haste, Charcoal gave the mare a hard look. "Listen here now, I'm not here to insult you, or your gun." Charcoal said, getting a bit closer to the mare. " I was just saying that if you don't keep your 45. in good condition by repairing it regularly then it will either stop working or just break beyond repair." Charcoal said. "And if you want to use me as an example then go right on ahead, I can take a hit." Charcoal insisted.
  2. @@notten1, @@Sunset Haste, Charcoal didn't speak to the mare when she spoke to her. All she did was walk closer to her and Line and stare at her 45. "I'm not planning on taking your gun, but the one you have in kind of in bad shape." Charcoal said, her tail flicking back and forth a bit in frustration. She hated it when other ponies didn't take care of their weapons. Granted the pistol she had wasn't in good shape, but she didn't have any guns to repair it with. "But... well..." Charcoal turned to face line. "Um... Line... would it be okay if I could borrow some caps to buy one of these 9mm pistols? I need one to repair the one I have with me. It is not in great shape and needs a bit of repairing." Charcoal explained. "But, if you don't want to, that's okay..."
  3. @@notten1, @@Sunset Haste. Charcoal kept to herself as they walked along the 'road', or at least what was left of it, to the trading post that Line had spoken so highly of. As it came into view Charcoal wasn't really impressed by what she saw. Wow... this place is really in rough shape. And this is a trading post? I've heard of them being the best business in the wasteland, but this is ridiculous. Charcoal thought to herself as she walked up to the trading post and into a Stall of some sort. As soon as they walk in though, Line ran off to talk to somepony. Charcoal wasn't really interested in talking to him, but while Line walked up to him she noticed Line look at a blue mare. Charcoal looked at her as well, but then focused onto her weapon. She may not be very good at talking, but she knew a rare weapon when she saw one. That was a 45. automatic pistol. Those were hard to come by. As Line talked to the stallion Charcoal continued examining the 45. pistol. She could tell it had a bit of wear and tear on it. She wanted to fix the pistol, but she didn't want to be rude as Line walked up to the mare.
  4. @@Paladin Butters, @, Charcoal began to get less and less afraid of the two mares that were talking to them. Though, Stone's words hadn't really helped calm her mood either. She slowly stood up and walked over to the two mares. She was still shaking a bit, but that was because she was still a bit cold from whatever had caused the snow. "I... I'm not a savage..." Charcoal said to Applejack. "We were just passing through and stopped here for the night since it was late. Then it started snowing and then the dragon came... so... yeah..." Charcoal said. Then Charcoal turned to Fluttershy. "And yes, I am... okay. I am a bit cold though..."
  5. @@Paladin Butters, @, Charcoal was at a loss for words. Never had she ever experienced what had happened to her just now. A pony having control over a dragon? Is she some sort of sorcerus? Charcoal thought to herself before the other pony walked up next to the first pony. She didn't even know their names and she was a bit afraid of them. "I... I d-don't serve anypony..."
  6. @@Paladin Butters, @, Charcoal actually smiled a bit from Stone standing in front of her to protect her. If she wasn't blushing from the cold she was blushing from Stone trying to protect her. She almost could imagine Stone running out to face the dragon, but then her fantasy was interupted by the dragon slamming down on the ground and shouting at her. "I... I... n-no one..."
  7. @@Paladin Butters, @, Charcoal's eyes widened when she saw the giant dragon in the trees of where the trees had been moments ago. Why in the wide world of Equestria was there a dragon in the forest? She wasn't sure who the dragon was talking to, but now Charcoal was shaking less from the cold and more from the fear of the dragon. She didn't say a word and moved as little as she could while still shaking a bit.
  8. @, @@Paladin Butters, Charcoal perked up a bit at the same sound that Stone had hear. She was starting to get freaked out by this. Why was all this happening to her? Why? I was just wanting to help out all the ponies who lived here. Charcoal thought to herself as she began shivering again from the cold and snow. Where was the snow coming from anyway?
  9. @@notten1, Charcoal sighed as she followed along beside Line, the dust and dirt blowing in the wind being blocked by her glasses. What was she even doing here? She needed to just find a nice place and settle down for the rest of her life and not have to deal with all this. She found herself just walking along beside Line and not saying anything as they walked though the Wasteland. ((Here. I made a post. It is shitty, but it is something.))
  10. @, @@Paladin Butters, Charcoal nodded. "Well... I can't say that I am ungrateful for the company, but..." Charcoal flinched ass she got a sudden headache and she swore she heard a faint whisper of the voice from before, but she couldn't be sure. She sighed and rested her head in her hooves. "Um... Stone... would you mind if I got some rest?"
  11. @, @@Paladin Butters, Charcoal nodded. "Thanks..." Charcoal looked out as well in the direction Gavin had gone. "So... do you think it would be a bad idea for Gavin to have gone out on his own without help?" Charcoal asked, worried for his... friends safety. "I mean... I don't want to see him getting hurt."
  12. @, @@Paladin Butters, Charcoal looked up at Stone. She nodded her head at his question and smiled up at him. "T-Thank you..." Charcoal said before getting a bit closer to the fire, but making sure the blanket was not close to the fire. "Oh... um... and just so you know... you don't need to call me Miss. Just Charcoal is fine with me."
  13. @, @@Paladin Butters, Charcoal continued shivering and got closer to Stone as she was desperate for warmth. "S... Stop... p-please..." Charcoal mumbled to herself as she shivered from the cold. Her tail wrapped around herself in a desperate attempt to try to keep herself warmer and when she got her tail around her she wrapped the end of it around Stone's hoof.
  14. @, @@Paladin Butters, Charcoal listened to the song in silence. She had never heard of it before and it intrigued her. When it finally ended her ears spun around and searched for anything else to be heard. When nothing was heard she uncurled her still shivering body and and looked at Gavin and Stone.
  15. @, @@Paladin Butters, Charcoal curled up in a tight ball and got closer to Stone as she held her head tightly as the voices began to get louder. "Stop... stop... stop... STOP CALLING ME!!!" Charcoal cried out and began shivering from the cold even more than before. "Please... stop... please..."
  16. @@Paladin Butters, @, Charcoal didn't hear either of them as she continued looking around, shivering from the chill of the cold. She thought she was done hearing the voices, but she kept hearing them for some reason. And when the wind picked up it just got louder and louder to her.
  17. @@Paladin Butters, @, Charcoal smiled at Stone's brilliant idea to stay in the tree that Charcoal honestly wouldn't have noticed in the first place on her own. She didn't know why she wouldn't want to stay. Charcoal looked at Gavin. "Hey, might as we-" Charcoal cut herself off when she swore she heard her voice, almost like it was in the breeze. She turned and looked around to see if there was anything around that would be able to call her name.
  18. @@Paladin Butters, @, Charcoal nodded at Stone. "Well... that is definitely a tempting offer... but I don't know if I want to do that just yet. It is just a hunch for now and until I find a real reason to not trust her then I think I will chose to leave it be for now." Charcoal said while thinking hard about it. When she heard Gavin ask his question she looked up to notice that he was right. "Wow... time sure flies. How much further do we have?"
  19. Charcoal nodded. "An eye? Well then, you must be very observant then." Charcoal complimented with a smile. "Though I hope I don't make you uncomfortable. The last thing I want is for you to have to pretend that you want to be here. though I'm sure you wouldn't do that... right?" Charcoal asked, a bit pleadingly.
  20. @, @@Paladin Butters, Charcoal nodded. "Yeah, blacksmithing is what I have been doing for a while. And, while it isn't as good as crafting things out of plain wood, it is not bad. And it is actually a nice substitute." Charcoal said with a smile as she got even closer to Stone, even going as far as tickling the back of his legs with her tail. "So... what about you? What is your cutie mark?"
  21. @, Charcoal chuckled a bit. "I know you can see my cutie mark, but even so it wouldn't exactly tell you exactly what my talent is." Charcoal said as before getting ready to tell one of her favorite stories. "Basically, I am a construction worker... or at least 'i used to. But lately I have been getting into a lot of black smiting."
  22. @, @@Paladin Butters, Charcoal looked at Stone in confusion. What the heck is he talking about? Is he talking to himself, or was that an actual question to me? Charcoal thought to herself as they continued walking along. She decided to take things a step further and walked a little bit closer to Stone as they waled. "Well... um... I couldn't really say how they did it. But you know, maybe it wasn't a lot of work. They say that if you love your job you never have to work a day in your life. Maybe that is true about the ponies here. I know it is true for me. I love my work more than anything."
  23. @@notten1, Charcoal didn't really know what to say. She was surrounded by ponies in either robes or armor and a lot of them were either giving her dirty look, looks of disgust, or just ignoring her all together. She also felt quite uneasy being surrounded by all these ponies. She didn't have anything against any of them, but she had always been taught that these ponies were no good. She had never seen them do anything bad thought, so she chose to at least give them a chance. When Charcoal had finally remembered Line was there with her she shook her head of the thoughts and turned back to Line. "Oh... um... right... so, can you explain to me what had gone on in there?"
  24. @, When Charcoal fell into Stone she was about to apologize to him, but when she felt his hoof around her she blushed and froze up. She didn't even say anything when the pony came back to apologize to her for bumping into her. When Stone had set her back up and smiled at her she blushed even more and looked at the ground to hopefully hide her blush. "U... U... Um... t-thanks..." Charcoal managed to stumble out.
  25. @, Charcoal gave Stone a look of confusion as they walked along. "W-What do you mean by that? I don't quite understand what you are sa-" Charcoal was cut off by somepony bumping her out of his way before he walked away. Charcoal was shoved to the side and into Stone to where she bumped into him.
