Charcoal Embers

@, @@Paladin Butters, Charcoal grinned happily and nodded. She could almost feel her heart jumping for joy that Stone could come. She turned back to Stone and motioned for him to come. "Come on, let's go." Charcoal said before following Gavin down the road. She hoped that she didn't make Stone too uncomfortable.

@, @@Paladin Butters, Charcoal smiled and looked over at Gavin to make sure he was still there. "Sorry for the delay. But we can continue going... wherever it is we are going. And it looks like we are bringing a guest if that is okay." Charcoal said a bit hopeful that Stone would be able to come.

@, Charcoal smiles a bit more at Stone. If she smiled much more she would be in danger of ripping her face or just having it fall off. "While that is very sweet of you, but I think I will have to pass on that. I really should get going. Would you like to come with me to get my charter signed?" ((OOC: Bedtime Everyone.))

@, Charcoal chuckled a bit. She knew exactly what he ment by it being sprung on her. "Yeah... it was very sudden. I mean, ever since I woke up this morning in the hospital things have been moving so quickly. Just one thing after another. Then I just suddenly become ruler. I didn't want it at first, but then this mare I had met before... she came right in and took the position right there. I just... I couldn't let her have it. There is just something about her... I just don't trust her."

@, Charcoal smiled at Stone before looking at the ground at her hooves. "Well... I... it is a bit much, but... I am going to get a charter right now so that I can... well... I guess become ruler of this place." Charcoal said, hoping she wasn't about to scare him off. As the wind blew at the two of them and Stone's cape billowed in the air she was able to get a better look at him. And the sight of him made her blush a bit more. Celestia he is handsome.

@, @@Frosty V, Charcoal cowered a bit when Steel approached her. She needed to continue to act scared if she was to stay believable. But then one thing made her freeze. When Steel leaned in close and whispered into her ear she somehow recognized it. It was odd, but when she read Steel's emotions she understood.

@, Charcoal giggled a bit at Stone's joke before stopping herself slowly and realizing what she was doing. She never giggled. She sometimes laughed or chuckled, but she never giggled. This was a bit strange to her, but she pushed those thoughts to the back of her mind and looked around with Stone. "Yes... it is quite the place isn't it?" Charcoal said as her eyes drifted to Stone once again.

@, @@Paladin Butters, Charcoal smiled at Stone and looked up at him with a slight blush still on her face. "Well... h-hello Stone... it is n-nice to meet you as w-well..." Charcoal said. Come on! Stop messing this up. He is just a pony. An amazingly... cute pony... Charcoal thought to herself before coming back and remembering that she had been asked a question. "Oh... um... m-my name is C-Charcoal... Embers..."

@@Paladin Butters, @, Charcoal smiled and began walking along. She had a rough idea of where she was going and kept herself busy with looking around now that she wasn't trying to follow somepony. She was about to talk to Gavin when they were approached by somepony. She did not know the pony, like everypony else in this place, but she felt different about this stallion. When she looked at him she actually blushed a bit. She never blushed. W-Why am I doing this? Charcoal thought to herself before looking at him again. "Um... h-hello..." Charcoal said timidly to the new stallion. Wow... great first impression.

@@Paladin Butters, Charcoal waved goodbye as well. She didn't know him, or who he was, or what he was, but she felt it was polite to wave to him. She began walking out of the port. "So where do we go from here?" Charcoal asked as they walked out of the port, ponies all around them clopping their way to wherever they needed to go.

"O-Oh..." Charcoal said, realizing she had hit a touchy subject. "Well... I... I'm sorry to hear that, but it is really okay. You don't have to." Charcoal said before smiling at Gavin. "Anyway, so how about we get that charter done? Does that sound like a plan?" Charcoal asked.

Charcoal looked at Gavin with a look of confusion. "Um... what do you mean by that? Why would you care if I lost all my stuff in the forbidden land? I'm just your normal everyday pony." Charcoal said in a serious, yet slightly sad manor. She hated when ponies were overly nice to her.

((OOC: It's fine. You don't need to apologize.)) Charcoal nodded. I wonder what happened to the rest of them? Oh well. I can ask that later. Charcoal thought to herself. "So anyway, can we get started now? I want to... wait, when you say resign their command, do you mean they have to quit?"

Charcoal nodded. She understood what she needed to do now. "So why exactly does me knowing about the storm make me fit to be a leader? I mean, I know you said I survived it, but that doesn't exactly shout 'leader' to me. Also... I would also like to know who Nichole Del Tor', and Sarah Del Tor' are."

"I just have this uneasy feeling while around her." Charcoal said as she watched Miss Hinrich walk off to the market. "But either way, sure. Go ahead and write up that charter for me. You said I just need to get the signatures of two specific ponies right?"

Charcoal leans in closer to Gavin to whisper into his ear. "I don't trust her, Miss Hinrich I mean. There is just something about her... I just can't quite put down what it is that makes me have an uneasy feeling around her. Maybe it is her smile. Or the fact that she came out right when she saw an opertunity to take control."

"So... what you're saying is, I just need to get two ponies to sign some paper for me and then I can rule this place?" Charcoal asked Gavin. "Though, saying it like that I probably sound like I want something more. Which isn't good. But really... um... can I tell you a secret?"

@@Paladin Butters, "I have a question, why is it exactly me knowing about the storm makes me the first candidate for being the leader? And what exactly would happen if I wanted to become leader again?" Charcoal asked. She just didn't feel right letting Miss Hinrich get this much power to herself.

@@Moonbacon, @, @@Frosty V, Charcoal pretended to cower away from Moonlight, as she looked similar to what a demon would if disguised improperly. "IT'S HERE!" Charcoal suddenly screamed. Get the buck out of here Moonlight! You're going to ruin everything! Charcoal thought to herself.

@@Paladin Butters, Charcoal watched as Miss Hinrich and Gavin walked out of the hall where all the action had happened. Why did she just happen to be there, outside of danger, right when a ruler was needed? Why had she been so quick to take up the position as leader? Something isn't right here. Charcoal thought to herself before walking off to follow them. She kept a close eye on the both of them as they traveled through the town. Eventually she finally came up behind them and tapped Gavin on the shoulder while they were looking at the baby kraken.

Charcoal shook her head violently. "No, I don't. I don't know anything more about the forbidden lands then you do. I don't remember anything about them. According to what everypony is telling me I lost my memory." Charcoal admitted. "And not only that, but I am.not a good leader."

@@Paladin Butters, @, Charcoal looked around in shock. So much was happening so quickly that she couldn't handle it. "Okay, woah! Everypony just calm down and take a deep breath. Now explain to me what the heck is going on here? Who just attacked us and killed somepony? Why am I being appointed as leader? Why not have somepony more capable be the leader?"

Charcoal was about ready to leave the conferance when somepony approached her. She turned to say hello when she noticed it was a stallion. She immediatly felt her heart beat faster and sweat begin to form. Oh... why a stallion? Charcoal thought to herself as she forced herself to look the stallion in the eye. She listened to what he had to say before also giving him a curious look. "Wait... you lost your memory as well?"

@@Paladin Butters After Charcoal had opened up shop she had realized something. It was really late. She closed up shop again and went inside where she found a pile of hay for her to lay on. She quickly fell asleep afterword from how tired she was from working the entire day.

@@notten1, Charcoal sighed as she watched Line go into a drunken stupor before walking deeper into the cave. Sh had no idea what to expect, but she hoped she wouldn't run into anything too bad. As she walked through the cave she could only hear the sound of water dripping from the ceiling and her hoofsteps against the hard stone. When she got further down into the cave she began hearing some sort of crackling sound. She wasn't sure what it was so she walked on. Then she got into a large room in the cave. In the center of it was a busted up radio, an old pony skelaton, and a small chest in the dead pony's hooves. Charcoal thought it looked interesting and began walking towards it. All of the sudden her collar began beeping. She panicked and backed up, causing the beeping to stop. She sighed in relief and looked out at the pony. She had to get to it. She backtracked to where Line was sleeping and shook her awake.
