Thanks, you guys. Now some of you may notice that I gave the TS/AJ relationship in Winter Wrap Up a detailed analysis of it's subtlety in showing that the two ponies' friendship didn't become strained after this episode. Well, that's because there's a subject I've been meaning to bring up. So, it's been established that Ponyville was founded by Earth Ponies, right? Then it's revealed in the episode Family Appreciation Day that Granny Smith was the one who founded Ponyville, which means that the town's entire existence is all because of Applejack's family. Basically, what I'm getting at is that after you watch both WWU & FAD, it's really incredible that Applejack easily forgave Twilight for not only breaking a town event's sacred rule, but also one that was established by her own family. Hell, it's amazing that Applejack was even willing to give Twilight a second chance when the latter offered her organizing skills to help the town and didn't respond with something like "I think you've helped enough for one day, Little Missy". I guess that just shows how strong their friendship is.

A Talking Dragon, you may forgotten a few other episodes highlighting Twilight and Applejack's close bond: #6. Boast Busters * Applejack tells Twilight that her magic is a part of who she is and that she and the others like her for it, as well as how proud they are to have a powerful, talented unicorn as their friend. #12. Call of the Cutie * The two of them click their drinking glasses in cheers. #15. Feeling Pinkie Keen * Applejack is the one who warns Twilight of the Pinkie Sense. * When Twilight fell through the door to Applejack's new apple celler, Applejack felt delighted thinking that Twilight came to see it. #29. Lesson Zero * Applejack was the one who tried to get Twilight to calm down about her problem. There are also some minor details you may have missed from #11. Winter Wrap Up: * When Twilight ran off in tears after being scolded for using magic, Applejack's expression showed her feeling guilty. This clearly shows that while Applejack was upset with Twilight, she didn't mean to hurt her feelings. * After Twilight quills the fighting between the town folks and offers her organizing skills to help, Applejack smiles alongside the other ponies. This implies that even though Twilight earlier broke Winter Wrap Up's sacred rule of no using magic and her "come to life" spell ended up making a bigger mess for the Plant Team's snow plowing, Applejack was willing to give her another chance. * I know you already mentioned this, but Twilight and Applejack's hoof-bump during the organized snow plowing. This indicates that Applejack has forgivin Twilight for the avalanche she caused earlier at her farm.
