    Shadow saw that Rain was no longer talking to him, he backed up slowly and ran into the forest, Rain saw him do so. He hid behind a tree clenching his head, talking to himself "Are all my friends corrupted? The guitar player was too shy to talk in the beginning and now hes talking to Rain? thats not right! he-he is being controlled! He must be corrupted!" his mind froze........he was afraid. the word began to repeat in head. afraid, afraid, afraid afraid afraid Afraid Afraid AFRAID AFRAID SCARED SCARED! his whole body was trembling with fear.

    He looked at Rain "uh yeah to-totally f-fine, everythings o-okay, maybe we should check up on that new p-pony" he said trembling as he spoke. "Could she just be concerned or can discord smell my fear? I-I-I C-CANT TELL IF THERE OKAY! He thought." His sanity was decreasing by the second. "I could heal her leg but then she or d-discord could beat me! i cant lose! I have to win!"

    Shadow was thinking. his mind was a wreak, this question was digging him into insanity. our intentions were not to cause pain. What does that mean? His eyes went wide, after the fog, a pony appeared. it may be corrupted, wait, what if..what if everyponys corrupted now, my new friends are evil? why? why why whyWHYWHYWHYHWHY? HOW CAN I KNOW! if there under discords control? HOW? This was a emotion he haddent felt for a long time, fear. Shadow just stood there looking scared.

    "Yeah, the ice cream and magic paper were a dead give-a-way." Shadow began to think "in my fit of rage i exposed more than i should of, me being the element of darkness, i just hope nopony heard it...." He thought.

    Shadow looked at power ten "Good that may help alot, the other ponies may need them soon. This is the first time ive seen discord use this type of magic on somepony else then me. He seems more aggresive, he may not be alone."

    Shadow walked away "Well im dealing with HIM again" he said. "i guess i should have two ways to defend myself" He thought "Here we go" his magic made a scythe, it had a engraved black handle and a dark almost black blade that glowed purple. "yes!" he said out loud.

    "His magic is different...like mine. But his only works if he can get the opportunity to use it. No, im not immune but he has no way to use it against me yet."

    "Well to my expereince he cant hurt me. thats was one of my tests. in our last battle that same paper pelted me with magic, it had no effect. thats why I needed to know if he would try to kill me. But we may need to get out of here" He saw the new pony and it looked like Rarity "oh boy" he said sarcasticly.

    Shadow laughed at the ponys words "No its not the that shop, tell me what do you remember? "Yes I did say discord, i think hes doing this"

    OOC: Shadow has fought discord before "thats why he knows whats going on" discord could not harm him with his tricks either because hes been dead for a long time. he knows discords every move, after all hes been alive a long time

    Shadow looked over to see Rain still breathing "your not gonna die, besides your still young, im about 1884 years old" he said with a smile " i wont let it happen" He floated everypony to the ground and let them go "Thank me later" he said smugly
