  1. Yup, I have no problem putting it on display like that. I figure that the people who disapprove of it are people I don't want to talk to anyway, and it's much easier for people of the same interest to come up and talk to you when they see ponies on your shirt.

  2. Hey guys- I've REALLY been struggling to come up with an answer to this on my own (and my friends give me the standard "do whatever you want" answer), but I've started to really get into competitive gaming, and I can't decide on which handle I want to use. What do you think?

    Silver-

It's the name of my OC, the official state color and metal of my home state (Nevada), and it's what I've gone by on and off for a while now. It holds meaning, and it's something I'm entirely comfortable being called. However, it sounds common, and lacks a unique ring to it, and that bothers me a bit.

    Sonnet-

I love how Sonnet sounds- complex, unique, which sort of describe my personality and how I think (or so I'd like to believe). With a bit of time, I could see others calling me Sonnet, so that isn't a problem. However, it lacks the personal ties that come with Silver.

What do you guys think? I bounce back and forth between the two more often than I'd like to, so I'd like to get opinions from those who will give me a straight up answer, rather than "do what you feel like!"

Thanks in advance for your help!

  3. I bought this set as soon as it came out, and I don't have any regrets at all :)

It's a little bit pricey, but it IS a collector's item, and all of the books are hard cover, so it's not too big a deal. The story is interesting- exactly what you would expect from an adventure novel, and I really like how Daring is written. Something about her cocky and confident personality really sticks out to me.

In general, though, they're pretty nice reads and will fit perfectly in any collection! :)

  4. -I'm a living embodiment of Fluttershy

-I like a lot of things that are considered to be "kid's things"

-I would get a Shih-Tzu puppy IMMEDIATELY if I could.

-I really, REALLY want to get competitive in Smash (Melee and PM), but there are no weekly tournaments close enough to me.

-I'm from Las Vegas, and my favorite colors are the Nevada state colors (silver and blue). This is reflected in my OC's name and color scheme.

-I enjoy tickling and being tickled, especially on the feet (both ways) :P

-I love hockey (Go 'Hawks) and FULLY support the expansion of a team to Las Vegas (see above)

  5. In terms of dating, I look for people who remind me of Rainbow Dash. Cocky, bold, confident, and loyal. I feel like I'm way too soft-spoken to support myself, so having someone like that would be perfect for me :)

On the other hand, though, I feel like a quieter, more insecure person (like Fluttershy) would be a good fit, too, because it would give me a reason to bring out my louder side and BECOME the RD. So there's that x)

  6.

    Twilight Sparkle for her magic.

If you really look at it, though, what does Twilight or Sparkle have to do with magic? It seems like much more of a stretch than the others, so Fluttershy isn't the only outlier.

I'm also going to apply the "too deep for a kid's show" clause to this thought, because the whole idea seems a bit too much of a stretch as well.

  7. Eh, I've gone off of him. He's definitely one of the more reliable sources of tech-related news on YouTube, but... I actually don't know why I've gone off of him. Maybe it's just because of how awful you see his viewer base as the brief moment you slip into the comments for. I should probably give him another chance.

I feel the same way. I used to watch every last video he uploaded- I felt like he provided legitimate opinions and good arguments to back them up. Maybe I've gone off him because I know what he's going to say before I even click on the video :/

  8. Here comes Creative

I suppose it's my turn, then?

I hate how awkward I look in this picture, but I was kinda nervous, considering I was standing next to the person who provided the amazing voice for my fucking hero xD

  9.

Yep, Game theory killed the Mario franchise, it was good while it lasted though, sad really, I guess all good things have to come to an end eventually, the internet seems to kill everything I enjoy these days, Wii U is the last system that will have Mario games on it seems

    ...Is this a serious post?

I mean, the video was interesting and the evidence was well placed, but to go so far as to call the franchise DEAD because of a single Youtube video that not everybody has seen?

Don't you think that might be a bit...much?

I'm sure it's shown up somewhere in this thread, but it deserves another post :)
