WELL, since this is the Fluttershy fan club and all, I suppose this is where I can post the reasons why Fluttershy is best pony (at least to me).

Prepare yourself, emotions incoming.

Right off the bat, I knew Fluttershy was going to be my favorite character. There was just something about the way she looked, moved, and spoke that made her seem so innocent, so adorable. As the seasons and episodes went on, I started to realize how alike we were. We're both really shy around new people, but rather open and comfortable around those we're close to. We're both a bit under spoken, and we have our problems being assertive towards others. I was really starting to like Flutters, and then the one episode hit. Hurricane Fluttershy.

To this day, there's been no greater representation of what life in middle school was like for me. I was always that one kid that got picked on because he couldn't preform at the level the others in gym class. I faced the typical name-calling, the regular comments thrown along with them, but most importantly, the isolation. I went and told countless adults, including some of the gym coaches, a few other teachers, and even my parents. Regardless, the bullying never stopped, and I left middle school knowing that times could never be worse.

This, I feel, is what really helped me connect with Flutters, as the whole experience left me self-conscious about every last thing that I did. Tripped on the stairs? Everyone must be laughing at me right now. Let in a goal during a hockey game? Everyone saw and is now talking about how awful I am. These are only a few of the assumptions I made based on regular occurrences, regardless of whether they were true or not- much like Flutters in the episode.

Lastly, overcoming her fear is one of the most inspiring things I've seen to date, mostly because of how well I can relate to her situation. I made me realize that Fluttershy isn't only my favorite pony- she's my hero. She's the kind of person I want to be when I finally finish maturing.

Well, I apologize to those that stuck through to the end to read that, but it's something I've really needed to get out there for a while.

TL;DR: Fluttershy is best pony.

The X-Files opening. How utterly horrifying. The music was bearable(and I actually quite like it now), but coupled with the opening video, it was truly the stuff of nightmares.

When I was young, my folks would always watch it late at night. I'd see it briefly when I went out for a drink. Sleep rarely came those nights. Even now, as an adult, it's still a little unnerving to watch the opening.

It's probably because I was exposed to it in a different way- one that was meant to be funny, I might add. Different scenarios make for different reactions, I suppose.

Here's how you have to look at it: the government can't truly solve something. When they "try," they end up creating more problems. As liberal as I actually am, they have no right to infringe on our rights.

It was a late night in Ponyville; the stars were shining, the streetlights were glowing, and the usual, hustling crowd of the Ponyville streets had disappeared in favor of a nice, cozy rest in the comfort of their homes. One stallion, however, took this opportunity to go for a late-night walk. He wasn't expecting to run into any other ponies at this time of night, so he let his mind wander. Eventually, he spaced out, but kept trotting forward.

So it's getting kinda late here, and I'm a bit bored, so I thought I'd post here and see what some of you guys are up to at this time of night (or day if that's the case!) I'm currently just sifting through Youtube, watching whatever catches my eye, and I'm interested to see what it is that some of you guys start to do at around this time! ^^

"Pinkie Pride" has been compared to "Suited for Success", "Party of One", and "A Friend in Deed", and I can see the similarity to "Party of One".

Sure, it's similar in that Pinkie gets depressed. The reason WHY she's depressed is what varied, and it's interesting to see what exactly causes the most energetic pony in Equestria to get to that state. It's a side of Pinkie that we rarely see, and it adds a little bit to her character.

Aside from that, I don't see any more comparisons. They actually took an interesting angle at putting another pony in to take Pinkie's place- and I love the idea of doing so. I don't think anyone expected seeing another pony just as energetic and fun as Pinkie, so it was a welcomed addition to this already outstanding season.

I don't see why everyone loved it so much. The controls were borderline broken, and the hit detection was like Silver Surfer for the NES (AVGN, anyone? )

The style and tone are entirely up to you, but I'll have a list of characters/cards that I'll be using in the various decks.

Hi, everypony!

Recently, I've been working with a team of a few friends to create a new MLP trading card game (before you say anything, I know that others exist, but I've really wanted to create my own). After laying out the basic rules and play styles and such, we came across one slight problem- we didn't have any artwork for the cards themselves. I COULD just Google search a pre-drawn image or vector, but I'd have to ask each artist for permission, and it would just be original overall.

Why am I here?

Well, I thought the best way to fix this problem would be to ask some of you guys if you wanted to contribute! Each card that you design will feature the name of your choice at the bottom!

So, whether you'd like to draw the artwork for multiple cards, or you'd really only like to do one, let me know! Any and all contributions are welcome (as long as you're serious, and don't submit something that was created with little to no effort)!
