    Lewis sighs and nods then also looks up at the energy beams. "Yeah I'm alright.... Its just.... I'm not very good with change now a days..." His eyes return to the ground. "I know it has to happen all the time 'cause of the changelings and stuff.... but...." He chuckles a little. "You know.. I didn't leave my house for nearly a month after everything his the fan...." He smiles a little and glances at David. "Once I did whenever I tried to move from one spot to the next I would always have changelings waiting outside where I was laying low.... Dunno how but they always found me... But I'm more confident this time cause I have you ponies here with me.... Eeeven if I do seem jumpy..."

    Lewis jumpes a little not expecting David. "H-huh!? oh..hi David, it's ok..." He settles down and looks back out to the horizon. "Yeah I'm okay...just a little jumpy still. W-wait.. umm.. What do you mean I've been acting different?" He quirks an eyebrow slightly his voice more quiet than before.

    'I um... I'm gonna stay up.. i-if that's okay. I can't really sleep anyway.... I'll um take watch. You should get some sleep David, you look like you could use it.... u-um n-no offense.... S-sorry I'll just um... go.. watch..." Lewis blushed awkwardly and backed out of the safe house. Once outside he took a breath and sighed and sat by the door.

    Lewis smiles in return, "Yeah, it has before...." He steps off of his bed and sits next to Whiplash's. "S-so you said you were having a dream right? The only dreams I know of that make you wake up yelling are falling dreams and nightmares.... do you...um.. do you wanna talk about it?"

    Sorry I was away everypony... I got grounded for a time so I had to focus more on grades, then I got caught up in a different roleplay... But I'm back now! Oh, and yes chu are accepted^~^

    Being the light sleeper he is, Lewis woke up and jumped into a defensive position and looked around the room for trouble. When he saw no changelings he relaxed and looked to Whiplash. "Are you okay Whiplash?.... You scared the daylights outta me, I thought you were getting hurt..."

    Lewis nodded and smiled. He looked at David when he gave the message to all the ponies and nodded again. "No problem~ and goodnight." He replied to whiplash, it was at this moment when it hit him how tired he really was. He walked over to the nearest bed and flopped into it. He yawned then just before passing out said, "Goodnight everypony..." then let the relaxing blackness of sleep envelop him.

    Lewis grinned back levitating some of the rations studying them quickly and sorting them into Whiplash's bag. "Y-you think so? I honestly don't remember most of it... Just hitting the first two then my vision got kinda red and blurred. The next thing I knew Cosmo was hoof bumping me and the targets were all gone.... Is that normal?" He asked, a bit of nervousness in his voice.

    Lewis put the last of his things in his saddle bag and glanced around the bunker one last time and noticed Whiplash. He put his saddle bag on and trotted over to her and smiled. "H-hey Whiplash...D-do you um.. you need any help packing or anything?" He shuffled around still some adrenalin in his system.

    Lewis was confused for a second then when Cosmo hoof bumped him he grinned. "Th-thanks Cosmo! I'll keep practicing to get better!" He grinned again and trotted back to the bunker to gather his things. "I hope we head out soon... I don't know how much longer we'll stay here... but I wonder if we'll find a place that's just as good...."

    Lewis slashed through one of the targets wincing expecting blood to spray him but recovered when he felt none. His face was then set determined to rid himself of feelings of guilt and struck down another target more easily than the last. With the hatred he felt when he killed his first changeling he slashed through the targets till but one was standing of which he hurled the training knife at, hitting it square in the chest. He panted heavily and took a deep breath to calm himself of the sudden adrenalin rush. He glanced at Cosmo. "did I do that right?" he asked innocently.

    Lewis nodds and trotts out after Cosmo and watches for a little while he trains. "H-hey Cosmo... I've made my mind up... I.. uh.. I wanna learn how to fight..... I probably won't be very good... fightings not my thing... b-but I want to be able to defend myself so others wont have to!"

    Lewis's ears perked up hesring Cosmo say his name. He tilted his head in slight confusion. "Y-you want to teach me how to fight?" He thought about it for a minute and thought to him self "It's probably a good idea to take up his offer.... I don't know how to fight and I don't wanna freeze up again..." He nodds and says "Y-yes please. I can't depend on everypony to take care of me can I?... B-but I can take care of everypony, by um... by healing any injuries you get."

    Lewis saw them come in and trotted to them quickly. "I-is David okay?... What happened?" He looks over at Cosmo. "Are you ok? You look a little beat up.... Can I help at all? I... uh... I have a low degree in medicine..." He looks back down at David of whom is still out cold with a worried look on his face.

    Lewis flinched as he heard the explosion, he got up and galloped to where the others were. "W-What was that!? I-I swear I didn't see any changelings....." He saw the crater around Skuldaf. "O-oh..." Lewis's eyes got big, somewhat supprised by Davids out burst. "W-Whats the problem with luna?.... I like her... she's really nice...." He turned around and trotted after David to see if he was ok. "H-hey David... Y-you alright? That was one big outburst...."

    Lewis thought for a moment. "Maybe they're just waiting...." Lewis smiled and blushed lightly at the apraisle. "U-um th-thanks David.... But I dunno if I could do more than that.... I think I was lucky enough I teleported both of us entirely... I don't know why I tried it knowing ssome pony could have lost a limb.... Maybe I wanted to impress her?" He sakes his head. "I think I just wanted to prove I was useful after freezing up..."

    Lewis shrugged a little. "I-it was okay..., though I guess I shouldn't complain about getting sleep should I?" He laughs a little and glances over at David squinting a bit trying to adjust to the light. "It's probably a good idea to move.... The changelings probably know where we are by now..."

    Lewis woke up sloely from his uneasy sleep and looked around. He saw David had returned so he hot up and trotted over to the other stallio. "H-hey David.... D-do you mind of I join you?" He asked before sitting down next to him. "D-did you find what you were looking for?"

    Lewis thought for a moment then said "Well.... t-there might be an Inn in town somewhere..... We could look together if you want.... I-I still need a place to sleep too...." He silently calculated how many bits he had left and how much a room costs. "I-I think I could pay for the both of us if you don't have any bits."

    Lewis smiled a little then looks around at the attention being attracted. "R-really it's no big deal!....." Lewis's smile disappears and is replaced with a slight frown. "I...um.... I-I'm sorry but... I couldn't help you with that one...." He looks down a bit. "S-see... I-I'm in the same predicament... I only got here yesterday also but my friend Twilight said I could stay the night... But I don't think I'll ask her tonight... I don't wanna bother her in her studies... S-sorry.."

    Lewis looked at the new pony who was asking for some food. He looked at the bag with the other two cupcakes he had and levitated one of them out of the bag. "U-Um sure here have this one..." Lewis held it out with his magic and smiled a little at the stallion. "It's ok I've got more so help yourself"

    Lewis woke up on Twilights couch with a soft yawn. He got up collected his things and thanked her for letting him stay the night then left. Despite it being early morning the town was bustling with ponies trying to get to work or just out getting breakfast. Lewis skirted along the outside of the crowd trying to stay out of the way when he spotted Sugar Cube Corner and trotted towards it happily. When he hot there he went inside and ordered a few cupcakes, he paid Mrs. Cake and trotted out munching on on of them happily.

    Lewis was sprawled out just outside the door way dead asleep. He was snoring loudly even though he was usually quiet. Then he started whimpering quietly, his dreams filled with uneasy thoughts, and images of the changeling he killed which wouldn't leave his thoughts. The bloody remnants of its face and the feeling of the blood on his hoof and muzzle were making him go mad, and somewhere in him it felt.... good? It made him fear what ever pent up anger was in him and he pushed it back down but now he knew it was there. He woke in a cold sweat breathing heavily. "J-just a dream...." He sighed.
