Hmm.. born in South Africa... visited Australia (cousins)... went to Japan (JET Programme), holidayed in USA (both as couple and alone). Currently residing in Japan.

I have only two ways I eat eggs... fried (flip once) on toast with Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper, OR soft boiled, take off the cap with a spoon, salt and toast soldiers. Scrambled on rolls (+ that hard to spell sauce) is a distant third, but permissible.

Opinions on bananas in this thread would appear to be... split.

I eat them occasionally.

More seriously, though, I go back through our conversations (live or digital) to confirm that I'm right, they're wrong, then I just forgive them anyway. Or I realize they were right, I'm wrong, and I ask them to forgive me. Ultimately, when having a "beserk button", if you will, that your SO just happens to push from time to time, you either communicate and compromise until the issue is resolved, or you resign yourself to the fact this current relationship is not the right one for you. Then you end it and look elsewhere. At a stretch, you might realize that you're overreacting to the situation, calm down and then repeat step one above.

tl;dr - either talk it out until you have a better understanding of each other that will strengthen your relationship, or decide it's a deal-breaker, separate and find someone else.

Also, light-sabre? Did no one on the Star Wars staff do any research whatsoever? Sabres curve, man. Foils and épées are straight. Plus Jedi don't even ride horses, so why use the name of a weapon of the cavalry for a weapon that is in no way a calvary weapon?
