  1. Heads up: a cisgender white male is responding to this. Just giving some context here.

I think the OP is confusing what gender someone is as opposed to what sex someone is. (Yes, there is a difference - look it up).

Based purely on the, shall we say, "plumbing" aspects, definitely men have the better deal. No monthly cycles, no child-birth, and in related news, no soon-to-be-kid constantly kicking your bladder and other organs from the inside. And culturally, it isn't much better. Women can't run around shirtless on most beaches (exceptions exist), are oppressed in most traditional societies/cultures where they are viewed as either property or corruptors of their male counterparts rather than human beings with their own rich internal experiences (and even the societies who have developed beyond that point have taken far too long to throw off such shackles of tradition as regards equality (not sameness) of the sexes.)

Women get paid less in general for the same job, are expected to maintain a household rather than a career (this is changing, admittedly, nice to see) and in most cases, have the issues affecting them the most being entirely under the control of the men in their communities (Alabama, looking at you... pass whatever laws you wish, but how about you get some women to advice you regarding the best way to use their uteruses? KThanxBye!)

About the only area where women have the advantage is in clothing choices, and lack of a refractory period.

I am entirely open to having my mind changed, though, so weigh in if you like.

    Queen, of course :crackle:

Oh, you soooooo should have said Led Zeppelin instead of Queen... "Stairway to Heaven" vs "Highway to Hell"? Th-the irony factor alone would have made your answer Epic, Morty! You messed up... urp!... Morty. I could have done it better. Tell you what, Morty, just come ask me all your questions... *burp* I'll set you straight. *passes out* (Just kidding! ;))

  3. It's probably unique to pegasuses. In Princess Twilight Sparkle, Twilight used magic to make that star burst, which means it technically wasn't a sonic rainboom, and when she had the power of all four alicorns in Twilight's Kingdom, she had a contrail the same colour as her mane, and was fast enough to create a shockwave, but still didn't create the rainbow explosion.

    Twilight's version.

I guess other pegasuses going fast enough would create both a rainbow, sonic boom and have a contrail with colours matching their mane.

As for Luna and Celestia, they could probably simulate it using magic and speed, but it probably shouldn't be considered a sonic rainboom if they need to do what Twilight did.
