    The blogs follow the same rules as the Global Rules, which basically means that no NSFW and no Personal attacks, along with other things. Just in case, I will link too how to create a blog with this FAQ, because one never knows when can it be useful.

     

     

    Priviledge-wise.

    Priviledge-wise, you are allowed to:

    • Create your own personal blog.
    • Customize your blog with different options (like a calendar, a Latest Visitors tab, amongst others..)
    • Edit your blogs (but not others' blogs, evidently)
    • Create/Join a shared blog, where you and multiple users can post.

    And with that, all of your doubts are resolved, I believe. If anything else crosses your mind and you have more doubts, please create another topic. Thank you very much.

    @NeonFlash1, the Active Post counter, unless it suffers a bug (which it doesn't currently) is updated instantly the same moment you make a post in any of the forum sections where it does count.

     

    To make it more clear, posts made in Welcoming Plaza, Testing Forum, Roleplay OOC sections, Fan Clubs and any of the Cloudsdale Colliseum sections will NOT count towards your Active Post count. If you want to increase it, I recommend you to make posts with a minimum of quality in places like General Discussion or Sugarcube Corner.

    MLP Forums banner questions

    Hello @Shimmer Quill! While you most certainly can showcase your banner, you'll only get that chance when the next Banner Contest gets held.

     

    Banner Contests are a monthly event where you can submit your own banner and see if it is favoured by the MLPForums community. Only three banners with the highest amount of votes get to be featured in the front page, however. A fourth banner will also be used after three weeks, but not from the Banner Contest. The staff will also make sure to make a topic regarding September's Banner Contest, so be sure to keep an eye our for it in the Canterlot Castle.

     

    Once said Contest is up, you must submit it via Private Message to all of the Admins of this site -- Jeric, Matron, Lavo and Spoon. As for the size limit, it must be approximately 1000x255 pixels. It also must be saved as a PNG file. You can read more about it here.

     

    I hope any of my advice helps. If you have any more questions, let me know! :)

    Adding to what Odyssey said, you are also welcome to submit banners that don't have to do with the contest or its theme, following the same rules as before (sending it to all four administrators).

    @Doodle_Bolt, you are both right and wrong. It is true that this is a post, but what you made was to create a thread. c:

     

    Making a post is the simpliest thing ever. Just scroll down and you'll see a box where you can write. Once you write what you want to say, just press "Post", and that's it!

    Looking to work with someone at some point

    @NeonFlash1, two things:

    -You already made a topic in this section not to long ago.

    -What you are doing right now is a request. Welcoming Plaza is a section where new ponies present themselves to the forums. If you want to make a request of the kind that you are showing, I recommend you to go to the Video & Animation subsection of the Octavia's hall.

     

    Because of those reasons, I have to lock this topic. So here it goes.
