  1. Magic Duel is definitly the best episode of Season 3 so far. Though I'm not quite sure I'm fond of Trixie being forgiven so soon considering what she did to the town.

      Yeah, my only real problem with that episode is how rushed the ending feels. I mean, after taking over Ponyville she gets forgiven by saying she's sorry..? Otherwise, it's a near-perfect episode, but man dat ending.

      Yea, the rushed ending was a real problem with an otherwise excellent episode. It's rather funny that in Boast Busters, Twilight beat Trixie by showing of how much more powerful her magic is to beat Trixie's deception. In Magic Duel, Twilight defeated the more magically powerful Trixie by using deception to do so. Delectable irony.
