I asked my 10 year old cousin shortly after I became a brony if she liked MLP, and she responded, "Ew, no, that's for babies." I laughed for about a minute, then said, "No, it really isn't. It's for anyone who likes it." She watched it with me and a few months later came and told me that she's a brony now to. XD The new Barbie that's out isn't so bad though, I'm really glad so much not-crap kids' programming has come out in the last couple years. -

Depends on the show, really. For example, I rather like the current Funimation One Piece dub, I can count on one hand the things they miss or mess up. But some things, like the Sketchbook anime (though I would like to see a dub of it someday) is probably better off with just subtitles, because much of the humor is language based, and would typically be lost in translation.

I love spindly baby Fluttershy, she reminds me of what equines and deer and things really look like as foals. XD And she got a musical number for no apparent reason, so good for her. LOL -
Most of my usernames have to do with either Squirrels (because I think they're cool) or the word "squeak" because it was my nickname in highschool, because of the noise I make when tickled. So in my headcanon I am a Squeaker the Squirrel pattering away at her keyboard with awkward-paws.

Where in Texas are you? I'm in Texas and I know there are at least 20 open bronies from my HS, 4 I've met on Tumblr, and 51 members in a single FB group in central Texas.

All absolutely correct, but still totally worth it. If I got eaten by a dragon it would still totally be worth it. And I've thought about the wistfulness some ponies may feel about their type, but I mean, it's not that different. As a 1/2 black 1/4 Japanese 1/4 curly-haired white person I wish I had manageable hair. But if I want it to look decent I need to spend two hours a day straightening it and two hours a week at a minimum washing it and 60 dollars at least every 3 months to perm it. I wish I was blonde with straight hair. But oh well. And then I bet some white people wish they had dark skin so they wouldn't get sunburned as easily or because tan is nicer or whatever. We all just gotta deal with it.
